Basic premise:
A group of three characters come across a dead body of one of
their comrades. They are both terrified and confused on how their
friend is dead, but then the protagonist figures out a way to
time travel (undecided how) to try and save them. However, the
protag finds out that he's the reason their friend is dead,
killing them by accident when trying to save them from the
antagonist. And then it's implied that the rest of the film is
revolved around the protagonist avoiding both the murderer and a
potential paradox if he runs into his past self. We could include
a small amount of comedy just to have some fun with the film.

SETTING:
EXT. – NIGHT – APARTMENT COMPLEX
[starts with an establishing shot of an apartment complex with a
slight zoom.]
INT. – NIGHT – HALLWAY (BILLY’S CLUBHOUSE)
[cut to a shot of an emergency door and bathroom door in frame of
a hallway. Protag slides in from the side into frame as well with
a snarky “Heh.”]
 PROTAG:
[Knocks on the door once.] “Hmm…” [taps foot and checks
wristwatch. Knocks on the door in a rhythmic pattern.] “…Tch!”
[his annoyed expression turns into an agitated one as he
childishly pounds on the door incredibly fast and hard, he then
accidentally opens the door and falls through with a “Gah!”
sound.]
[Protag mumbles and groans and looks up, his annoyed and pained
expression turning into one of exaggerated dread.]
HELPER B:
[dutch shot of the corner of the stairway, Helper B turning
around it with arms crossed and an annoyed expression] “Ugh!”
HELPER A:
[comically peers around the corner of the same stairway] “Hm?”
[cuts to an over the shoulder shot of Helper B on the left, and
Helper A appears in frame on the other side leaving the Protag in
the middle of the shot on the floor.]
PROTAG:
[frantic stuttering and flipping poses from holding his head,
pointing to the doorway repeatedly and gritting his teeth in
sheer panic.]
HELPER A:
“Tch.” [steps towards Protag with hands in his pockets and looks
in the doorway] “GAH!” [steps back and takes hands out of pocket
from seeing what was in the bathroom]
[cuts to a shot in the doorway with Protag and Helper B looking
at the camera/towards the direction of the camera]
HELPER B:
“Hm?” [steps into frame, an audible gasp forms from looking into
the doorway as well.]
[camera cuts to a vividly gory scene of Victim’s corpse, slumped
on the floor with a glittering blue object next to his corpse]
HELPER A:
“Meh.” [shrugs nonchalantly] “Ooh…!” [points towards the blue
object with only his pointing arm in frame]
[cuts to previous shot]
 HELPER B:
“Heh!” [pushes Protag towards the direction of where Helper A
pointed]
PROTAG:
[let’s out an audible wince, and crawls towards the blue object
and touches it]
[suddenly a bright blue flash with an ear-piercing sound plays,
when it stops, Protag gasps and looks around the room, noticing
that both Helper A, Helper B and the corpse are gone. Protag
stands up and looks around frantically. A hand rests on Protag’s
shoulder off-screen, and Protag flips around with a “Gah!”,
revealing that the hand on his shoulder was Victim]
VICTIM:
“Uhh…” [Victim looks towards the stairs and back at Protag
repeatedly, then points at the bathroom door with a nervous
smile]
PROTAG:
[stares into Victim, gasping and shaking his head for a brief
moment and waves his arms around to try and warn Victim]
MURDERER:
[steps through the emergency exit equipped with a knife, gaining
Victim’s and Protag’s attention, gasping and clumsily dropping
the knife from only expecting Victim and not Protag, the knife
sliding to the side]
PROTAG:
[looks at Murderer and grips his teeth, and makes a mad dash
towards the knife. Murderer tries to grab it before Protag, but
Protag slaps him out the way, making Murderer stumble towards
Victim, unarmed]
“HMPH!” [Protag stands up and readies the knife, aiming it at
Murderer]
VICTIM:
[awkwardly and slowly tries to walking away, positioning himself
in front of the bathroom door]
MURDERER:
[snatches Victim, making a blue object fall out of his pocket and
bouncing into the bathroom]
PROTAG:
[gasps, and in response to Murderer grasping Victim, he charges
towards him and slashes the knife vertically downwards]
MURDERER:
[dodges the knife for a split frame, and Protag accidentally
slashes Victim’s stomach open]
VICTIM:
“A-Ah…” [groans in pain, falls backwards into the bathroom and
slumps]
PROTAG:
[covers hand, looking pale and realizing he’s the reason Victim
is dead]
MURDERER:
[awkwardly scratches his head and looks around the room while
tugging on his collar]
PROTAG:
“Hrrrrrg…” [clenches his fist and snarls, gnashing his teeth, and
springs towards the murderer slashing wildly]
MURDERER:
[dodges all of Protag’s attempted blows, dodging in a cartoony
and comical manner]
PROTAG(PAST):
[yawns from upstairs, both Protag and Murderer notice the sound
and look up the stairs]
MURDERER:
[notices Protag isn’t looking and dashes towards the emergency
exit, shutting the bathroom door as he leaves]
PROTAG:
[under his breath] “Wha- Hey!” [chases towards the emergency exit
to pursuit him]
[five beats of silence. Suddenly, Protag(Past) slides past the
side with an identical shot to the intro]
PROTAG(PAST):
“Heh.”
