College admission system is web based application that

give student the opportunity to go online and apply for
admission well as process their college admission details. The
manual method of applying and processing student’ admission
is very stressful and cumbersome, forms and files get lost
during the process. All these problems have been examined
and a suitable solution provided. The online students,
admission system has a centralized database to keep record of
all the students’ record in the system. There is a module where
prospective students could sign-up into the system. There is a
module where the prospective students can apply for
admission as well as provide their details such as; the course
they want to study and personal data.

Today all the work at the time of admission of the students is

done by ink and paper, which is very slow and consuming much
efforts and time. In the modern world of technology, computer are
affecting our lives in more ways than we probably are aware of
COMPUTERRIZED MANAGEMENT maintaining information of
an educational institute, collages, other the list is endless. The main
principle behind the need of collage admission system is easy super
vision of institute. It can handle the details of students such as fee
details or marks detail. This students database has been designed
the taking into account the practical needs to manage a student data
Moreover, it provides security at product level as well as user level.
It design concentrates on 4 types of users such as Admin: Allow
you to control the operation of admission process server. Students:
Assist collage information about student admission. Account: To
manage financial or accounting activity. Server: the acts as a
medium between the authenticated student and admin.

Project Module:

1. Admin Module:
The admin plays a pivotal role in the online admission system. It is the
admin to provide authentication to the user in the online process.
The details entered and the documents uploaded by the
authenticated user is accessed by the admin via sever.
2. Login Module:
The login module appears to users when portal direct entry is on.
Login modules is a portal module that allow user to type of users
name and password
3. Fees Module
Fees module is one of the important modules of any collage
management software because it’s used to collect all manage fees
submitted by student .One of the most important fees module is
online payment.
4. Report Module
The reporting module allows you to create your own reports and
summaries based on all or selected result of particular study

 Field work:
 We visited to COCSIT college, Latur for information gathering and to
know how admission system works properly.

 We collect samples of admission form, prospectus, admission receipt,

and other related documents.

Conclusion:
In this way we are going to develop collage admission
system which minimize the time required for the manual admission process
system. Records of the students can be produced easily in a short span of
time. Work flow of the process will lead to efficiency and will be user
friendly.
