Conscientia Legalis follows a double-blind peer-review process for evaluating the quality of the
manuscripts received for publication. The Editorial Board ascertains whether the manuscript is fit
for publication in the blog, keeping in mind the quality standards of the blog site.
1. Copy Editors
This is the first level of the review process. Copy Editors are required to remove the identity of the
author(s) from the manuscript including the personal as well as institutional details from the
manuscript and the file name by assigning blog codes to the manuscript as may be prescribed.
Copy Editors shall also conduct the plagiarism of the manuscript and reject the manuscripts which
do not comply with the prescribed plagiarism limit.
Copy Editors are also required to act as the point of contact with the authors by resolving the
queries of the author(s) via mail.
2. Assistant Editors
Assistant Editors are required to review the manuscripts and ascertain whether the manuscript is
fit for further review for publication. Assistant Editors shall check the adherence to submission
guidelines and inform the Associate Editors about the same.
3. Associate Editors
Associate Editors are required to review the manuscript and ascertain whether the manuscript is
fit for publication. Associate Editors shall check the adherence to submission guidelines and reject
the manuscripts that do not adhere to said guidelines.
4. Managing Editors
This is the final level of the review process. Managing Editors are the final authority and shall take
all decisions with regard to publication of manuscripts on the blog site.
