Spheriglass® 2024 Solid Glass Microspheres

Technical Data Sheet1

SPHERIGLASS® Solid Glass Spheres are high performance funconal fillers & extenders offering unique
advantages when used in thermoplasc and thermoset systems.
They are used by formulators in automove, aerospace, chemical, electronic and other industries to en-
hance performance and reduce reject rates in producon, and to improve thermoplasc and thermoset
properes. These products disperse evenly, pack closely and wet-out easily in resin compounds. They are
available uncoated, or coated with coupling agents suited to a wide variety of resin chemistries.

Packaging:
• High Flexures modulus Spheriglass® Solid Glass Microspheres are available in 25kg
paper bag with PE liners and various bulk bags to suit our cus-
tomer's requirements. Details of packaging opons are availa-
ble as a separate document.
Samples in sufficient quanty for tesng are available on re-
quest.

Safety Informa!on:
Spheriglass® Solid Glass Microspheres are moderately alkaline,
and prolonged exposure may irritate the respiratory tract. In
dusty environments, the use of a NIOSH-approved mask or
respirator is recommended. Material Safety Data Sheets
(MSDS) can be supplied on request.

Storage:
Our packaging is designed to protect damages during shipment
and handling. Some cauons are given for a proper storage:
Store micro-spheres containers in dry condions.
Parally used containers should be ghtly closed, not le9 open
to the atmospheres for extended periods,
The products are hydroscopic and will tend to agglomerate
upon prolonged exposure to moisture and humidity.
