GIT INSTALLATION GUIDE

Step 1 - Git - Downloading Package (git-scm.com). Go to this site and download the installer for
windows/mac depending upon your computer.

Step 2 - Once you download the installer, you will be shown a series of dialog boxes, select the
options in accordance with the images.
Can Optionally select Additional Icons. If you want desktop icons, rest default
Select VSCode if that is the editor of your choice. If you are unsure, select Notepad but not vim.
This option can be changed in future
Select the default option only
Step 3 - After completing all the steps, click on install button and all the packages will get
installed. At last, click on the Finish button.
