Title: Transmission Recondition WL-04 (Overhaul)

1. Background
1.1. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on November 19, the maintenance team inspected wheel loader #04
transmission due to gear noise.
1.2. As a result of the inspection, the gear teeth of the transmission were damaged,
1.3. so it was replaced with a spare transmission (before repair) and WL #04 was normalized on
November 16.
1.4. Since the spare transmission was replaced without an overhaul, the broken WL #04 transmission
also requires a quick overhaul.
1.5. For damaged transmission WL #04, refer to damage report. [Attached 7-1]
1.6. HM reading when its breakdown: 37,402 Hours [19 November 2023]
1.7. Manufacturer Volvo Life Time 12,000 H/M and the currently used WL #04 H/M is 17,446 H/M.
1.8. WL #04 Transmission damage part : Gear pitted damage & clearance occurs due to aging of
various gears and components

2. Purpose
2.1. To prepare for an unexpected occurrence during shipping coal by repairing the broken WL-04
transmission, and to prevent long-term WL stoppage during the maintenance period in case of
transmission failure.
2.2. Hasnur requires constant operation of WL 5 Units and is to prevent complaints about rapid
recovery in case of WL Breakdown.

4. Other
4.1. After disassembling the WL-04 transmission, usable materials in the list of replacement
materials were adjusted in consultation with the vendor for recycling. (Attachment 7-5)

4.2. After transmission overhaul, installation and performance test scheduled for WL #04 (vendor:
Indotruck)
4.3. On December 12, 2023, we received a first quotation from the vendor for transmission repair
costs of 1,154,110,000 Rp (including labor costs). After consultation with the vendor to reduce
costs, we would like to receive a 2nd negotiation quotation of 988,199,500 Rp (including labor
costs) and receive approval from the corporation.
4.4. Spare transmission parts useful list
- July 2023 WL #01 parking brake was replaced due to damage
- In November 2023, WL #03 torque converter was replaced due to damage
4.5. When overhauling the WL #04 transmission, a new parking brake and torque converter are
scheduled to be additionally installed.
- Parking brake price : IDR 69,802,850 (Refer to Quotation Form No. 50~54)
- Torque converter price : IDR 244,690,605 (Refer to Quotation Form No. 67)
5. Conclusion
5.1. Transmission gear pitted damaged parts replaced and each component replaced.
5.2. After receiving DM approval, we plan to carry out WL #04 transmission overhaul.
5.3. Estimated parts arrival is determined by supplier INDOTRUCK, and the estimated time frame
for transmission repairs is not yet known.
6. Future Plans
6.1. Performance test scheduled after WL #04 transmission repair is completed
6.2. Currently scheduled to overhaul spare parts transmission installed on WL #04
