Concert Details

Activity: Movie Magic Concert (Winter Concert)

Time: 6 PM – 7:30PM

The Movie Magic Concert for Bands is the major performance activity for many students this term. Families are
warmly invited to come and support our musicians.
Tickets
This is a ticketed event and tickets are available via Humanitix only. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Music Support Group
which supports the music department in a variety of ways including purchasing instruments and equipment. We are grateful for
your support. Guests are requested to arrive early to allow for ticket check ins.

Arrival Time
All musicians to arrive by 5pm and unpack in the Choir Room A1.02. Bags and belongings are not to be left outside on Level
1 CLC.

Performers dress code


Students are encouraged to dress as their favourite movie character. Please ensure your attire is school/concert appropriate.
Attention to grooming is expected.

Food and drink


The Music Support Group will have a sausage sizzle available on Level 1 CLC from 4.30pm – 5.30pm at $2 per sausage.
Complimentary pre-concert drinks will be provided for parents from 5.15pm on Level 1 CLC. Fresh popcorn will be available
at $2 a serve. No food or drinks are to be consumed in the Band Room.

Parent Volunteers
We are seeking parent volunteers to help out in the afternoon before the concert and on the night. If you are able to assist the

COVID Safety
A COVID plan is in place for this school event. Students are to continue to be vigilant with regards to hygiene and health and
if anyone is exhibiting signs of feeling unwell, they should refrain from attending and advise Ms Porter or their Ensemble
Director immediately.

Emergencies
If parents need to be contacted, the School will do so as soon as possible. The School can be contacted on 3332 1300 from
7.30am to 4.00pm or, after hours, a member of the Senior Leadership Team is contactable on the School’s Emergency Phone
on 0408 001 150.
