BASIC FUNCTIONS

LIST: Show a list of word(s) or combination of words (ranked according to their frequency)
Spring break (653 times)

CHART: Show a chart comparing frequencies of a word in different genre or time


cool (not frequent in an academic writing)

suffrage (frequent in academic writing, but rare in speech)

COLLOCATES: Show which words occur near other words


gap collocates more frequently with gender (N), large (A), fill (V) or between (P)

COMPARE: Compare 2 words according to their frequencies

KWIC: Show the search word(s), in contexts


limit → There is no limit to learning

SEARCH STRINGS
WORD: a search word or phrase

COLLOCATES: a word (not a phrase) that occurs within up to 10 words before / after the search word(s)
