80
PROPOSAL STATEMENT POST-TENSION BONDED SYSTEM SNP-PT INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD.

STRESSING CONCEPT
 Stressing Sequence
 Elongation measurement and Anchorage Slip

Stressing Sequence
 Step 1 Stressing strand 50% of group of tendon in band direction except extra tendon, extra
tendon around opening or lift core (Stressing in step 3)
 Step 2 Stressing all strand in uniform direction by start with tendon near column to mid span
tendon.
 STEP 3 Stressing remained strand in band direction Band and extra tendon, extra tendon
around opening or lift core.

REMARK
In case of irregular plan stressing sequence will be change by structural engineer.

Animation : Stressing Sequence

81
PROPOSAL STATEMENT POST-TENSION BONDED SYSTEM SNP-PT INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD.

Elongation measurement and Anchorage Slip

1. Start hydraulic pump for stressing strand until pressure reach 37.9% of fpu and stop to set
zero elongation point.
2. Start hydraulic pump again for stressing strand until pressure reach 75.8% of fpu and stop to
measure elongation (OA). The total elongation are two time of OA
3. Compare total elongation with theoretical elongation
3.1 If total elongation within ±5% of theoretical elongation then go to next step
3.2 If total elongation greater than theoretical elongation over 5% find out the cause of error
and report to inspector
3.3 If total elongation less than theoretical elongation over 5% then start hydraulic pump for
stressing again until pressure reach 80% of fpu measure the total elongation(OB). The final
total elongation equal to OA+OB and compare with theoretical elongation. If final
elongation still less than theoretical over 5% then report to engineer for re-calculate force
of this strand.
4. Push wedge to anchorage by hydraulic jack and calculate anchorage slip
Anchorage slip = X-Y-3mm.(not exceed 3mm in each side)
X= The final elongation
Y= The final elongation after pushing wedge
3mm = The elongation of strand measure from face of anchorage to jack wedge in
hydraulic jack
