1. You work in the IT Industry. You have recently developed a new mobile application which
you have started offering to your clients. Most of your customers have been using your
competitor's application which is highly rated. When you did the market analysis, you
realized clients are not willing to try out your application. What measures will help you
enhance your credibility in the market?

Answer: In a situation like this, the first and foremost that the business needs to act upon in
order to amend its functions and smoothen its process is to be able to communicate its initial
goal, its follow through, the benefits, the larger impacts to the end users of the application.
They should be facilitated to have channelised information and service paving its way towards
them. By which, not only we can benefit ourself but also exercise consumer loyalty in the
market . So, the business must act upon establishing a proper communication system flowing
across in a fruitful manner.

Role of Communication- Communication is the most prominent factor for existence of any
business entity to have exist and operate in the corporate world. It’s the lifeblood of any
organisation. No organisation can flourish, grow, expand, profitate or even continue to survive
without communication. The success of an organisation largely depends upon the effective and
efficient system of communication, in the bigger and close view, the business happenings are all
part of communication on daily basis. If the vertical flow of organisation is able to have
transport its goals,dreams, problmes, issues, expectations, procedures, mechanism; all in a
elaborated and clear words, it ensures the work is most likely to have happen it the assigned
way, if not completely.

For a smooth business mechanism on daily basis, Communication is very crucial factor.
Communication in simple words, is exchange of idea, information, opinions. Its how a person
conveys his thoughts to other person. In business world, we need to maintain a professional
and ethical code of communication, which implies having communication with a certain
respect, empathy, accuracy and politeness. This is the factor, due to which the organisations
keep a check on improvising the communicating skills of its personnels.

Measures to enhance market credibility-


Analysing- The first activity to be conducted can be analysing what is the reason for customers
to use the competitor’s application. The service and the experience which they are getting
there, we need to update ourselves from existing one, so as to attract and retain the
customers. The detailed study into this can give us the pathway to walk further on this path and
excel in it.

Knowledge- We need to use our collected resources, informations and knowledge in offering
our customers the updated and better experience for the shift we desire. The knowledge of
developing our application, the knowledge of channelising our resources, the knowledge of
consumer pattern; all needs to be put in together to make the impact big and deep.

Offer the best- A clear picture of customer understanding and demand , we can aim to offer the
best possible product to them. A strong product is itself capable to sustain and survive in the
market. No customer will ever look back to weak model, negative reviews or unsatisfactory
service. So, the prime focus, should be to strengthen the application at first place, which itself
will boost confidence & credibility.

Consistency- The efforts need to be kept consistent in order to achieve high milestones.
Hopping and jumping may lead to accidents, so keeping up at regular pace and consistent effort
will make you witness the desired goals.

Social media- These days, social media is the most effective and impactful way to communicate
with the potential audience. The central idea of attracting the customer and reaching out to
them can be made possible by the help of social media platforms. They help in establishing
better communication between the organisation and customers.

Also, we can get direct and instant feedbacks on how they feel about our application, or what
else they are looking for, the bugs they experience, the speed they desire and many other
spontaneous communication can occur in that course of action.

Demonstrations- A fullproof and detailed explanation of working mechanism of the application


is a great way to convince them to trust the product we are offering. On official page, youtube
videos, or by celebrity influencers and paid partnerships; we can market the working procedure
of the application functions.

The credibility of business ascertained in the fact that its able to attract, retain and grow the
customers. When the service and experience is the prime basis of functioning, the credibility of
business develops gradually.
2. Based on the stage that you are in your career, prepare a chronological or functional
resume for a position in your dream company. You need to create your resume in any 1
format chronological OR functional, properly justifying your choice.

Answer: A resume is a formal document elaborating a candidate’s academic qualifications,


skills, educations, his experiences and other achievements. The resume acts as a medium which
lets him decide, if the candidate and his qualifications are fit for the designated role. Given with
the role and responsibilities, the employer looks for certain charactristics in an employee,
Resume is that insight to a candiates professional history. Resume is kind of advertisement of
his accomplishments, achievements and qualities that makes a candidate get considered for the
profile. A resume most importantly has to informative in nature, considering the fact this is
prime factor in making the decision of hiring a person.

The pre-employment phase is where you widen your reach to several organisations by
ciculating your resume via various modes. Be it email, e-portflio, social networking sites or job
community groups, or even face-to-face interview session, the resume acts an bridge between
the employer and the potential employee.

Types of resume:

Chronological Resume: Opening with the introduction about the person concerned, this
resumes moves ahead with depicting one’s accomplishments in descending order of their
occurance. This implies the recent ones are noted at the top and followed by others in the
chronology in reverse order.

Functional Resume: This resume focuses on the skills and abilities of a person along with his
academic qualifications. This emphasises on skill-set of a person rather than his job-history.

Here, the employer gets to know what all you potential do for the organisation alongwith

The chronological resume helps the employer get better understanding of job performance
along with background & skills. It ascertains the objective and career summary in a
chronological order as per the accomplishments. This summarizes the work history of the
respective candidate showcasing their fields of operation and areas of specialisation.

a. Highlight the importance of proofreading your documents with any 4 time-tested


techniques.

Answer: Proofreading in general, refers to full and final reviewing of a text for detection of
errors like punctuations, spellings, grammar, ommission, formatting or other typing mistakes.
It’s accounted as last and final stage of writing procedure, where the written matter is
overlooked throughly for recognition and identification of any kind of mistake prevailing in the
text.

Techniques of proofreading:

Stay focused- The most crucial factor of proofreading is that you are re-reading what you have
just written, so the related things are already surfacing in your mind, due to which you need to
stay focused to catch the mistake happened. The presence of mind is utmost requirement in
this procedure. Staying focus will lead you to desired results.

Double-Check High priority points- The fundamental cocept of proofreading has always been in
the idea of double checking the spellings mentioned in the text. The little ommissions of date,
address, quantities etc. lead to bigger problmes for the organisations. So, it is advised to
recheck and be double sure of written points always. This process reduces the chances of small
mistakes and reassures the respective person about the content of the matter.
Vigilance- The most preferable thing to do while carrying out same kind of activity on regular
basis is a little bit of distance and gap from it. Since, we are already occupied with similar
things, the chances of neglecting any mistakes are high. But after a certain interval and specific
distance, when we get back to same thing, we can read it freshly.

Print it Out- Since the mind turns lethargic of same activity being performed over and over, it

which serves as an identity of the program. The base, the ground or the bed of the program is
the Website and mobile application, which lets the end-user use it. A website means the the
group of numerous of webpages connected through the server or domain. It delivers the raw
data and processed content on this laid-out infrastructure for the assessment of browsed
material on the internet.

The website and mobile applications are the basis for existence, survival and operation on that
particular brand or association in concern. It demonstrates their logo, design, values,
functionalities, product descriptions, shop links, user guidelines, help supports, policies etc. The
visitors of the site can have a complete insight and helps in building trust towards it.

Making content mobile friendly-

 The websites need to be optimised to be made mobile accessible via different run-tests
and search for any kind of bugs or issues.
