to an immigration report issued
by Kuwait’s Central Department
of Statistics in collaboration with
the Ministry of Interior.
The total number of resi-
dence permits granted to expa-
triates in 2022 was 28,38,613,
which is an increase of 3,18,000
compared to 2021.

three new resources aimed at
fostering innovation and creativ-

launch event introduced the ATL
(Atal Tinkering Labs) Tinkering
Curriculum, Equipment Manual,
and the calendar of activities for
2023-24.
The ATL Tinkering Curriculum
is a structured learning pathway
designed to help students de-
velop and hone their innovation
skills. The curriculum has been
developed in collaboration with
Makerghat and covers a wide
range of concepts, from basic
electronics and mechanics to
cutting-edge technologies such
as 3D printing and Internet of
Things. With this curriculum, stu-
dents will be encouraged to iden-
tify and design creative solutions
to everyday problems through
hands-on experiential learning.
The Equipment Manual pro-
vides comprehensive guidance
on the equipment provided in
the Atal Tinkering Labs in
schools across the country. The
manual contains detailed infor-
mation about each equipment
and tool, including the specifi-
cations, applications and exam-
ples of projects that can be built
using them.

Awards organised by the
Federation of Indian Ex-
port Organisations (FIEO).
The Export Excellence
Awards were conferred to
encourage, motivate and
recognise best performing
exporters from western re-
gion, in Mumbai. FIEO or-
ganised the awards for
members who have ex-
celled in export perform-
ance of goods and services
during the financial years
2018-19 and 2019-20 re-
spectively.
Ms Patel said, “the
western region has con-
tributed almost 50 per cent
to India’s merchandise ex-
port. Looking at this con-
tribution we have every
reason to celebrate this
achievement. I hope the
award winners continue to
serve as role models and
inspire others.”
Referring to the role of
exports during Amrit Kaal,
she said, “the efforts we
take today go a long way
in fulfilling the Prime Min-
