KeyDoc Health and Safety Requirements Overview Tool For Trusts 2023
Use this tool to guide your discussions with your 'competent person' so you can:
> Keep track of requirements across your trust, including any remedial actions that need to take place
> Evaluate whether you have the right measures in place for each
> Report to your board
Instructions:
- Copy the sheet as many times as you need to have 1 for each school
- Check your scheme of delegation and adapt the spreadsheet to suit your context. Fill in the 'person responsible' column where applicable
- Use the questions as prompts to discuss each area and help you evaluate whether the measures you have in place are appropriate and whether any
remedial actions are needed (the questions in bold relate to specific requirements, the others relate to good practice)
- Assign a RAG rating to help you prioritise the items
- Clarify your next steps

to-day responsibility for health and safety. Instead, the tool is intended to cover your key requirements and help you ask the right questions to assure
