I'm reaching out to express my keen interest in the Welder/Fabricator position you've advertised,
both on Highway 59 and through local sources. Having honed my skills through the welding
program at El Capitan High School, I believe I possess the requisite experience and proficiency
for this role.
My expertise spans various welding techniques including GMAW, FCAW-G, FCAW-S, SMAW,
OFW, OFC, and GTAW across AC and DC currents. Presently, I hold an AWS D1.1 certification
in SMAW 3G for up to ¾ plate steel, and am actively engaged in FCAW-G at the same level.
Additionally, I have extensive fabrication experience ranging from small to large projects at the
El Capitan Welding Shop. My aspiration is to further my career in welding, aiming to become a
welding instructor and eventually obtain AWS/CWI certification.
