The Pathway I’m Choosing
The pathway that I believe would be most beneficial to myself today, in this
moment, is Law. I believe that pursuing law for myself is the best pathway for
myself, as well as being a very good fit for myself.

Meeting my Needs
Following law as a pathway allows me to meet all of my needs, as being a lawyer
would allow me to work a safe job of which I am also interested in, as well as
having financial stability. As well as meeting my needs, following law also has many
benefits outside of those needs, including a high median salary, as well as gaining
valuable experience and skills that can translate outside of law.
Obstacles and Overcoming them
Despite all the benefits mentioned, following law obviously has its fair share of
obstacles and challenges, including but not limited to:

- High tuition fees for law school and universities

- Requiring lots of schooling in general
- Very saturated market, especially in Canada

Many of these problems could be solved by doing simple things that would be
common sense in pursuing most other jobs too, including starting to create savings,
creating a web of connections, as well as starting on education right now, so I can
be more prepared in the future.
A Good Fit
I truly believe that Law is a very good fit for myself, as it matches with my passions,
interests, and strengths. Firstly, I am already very interested in law, philosophy, and
debate, all of which are incredibly prevalent in law itself. This means that by
pursuing law, I could also be pursuing a career in which I am passionate about.
Secondly, working in the field of law lets me use some of my greatest strengths,
that being my public speaking skills and my critical thinking skills. Lastly, one of my
largest goals is to simply create a tangible impact on the world that will create a
positive effect on my community and society, and I truly believe that law is one of
the best ways to create this impact.
Conclusion
Through thorough analysis and introspection, I am convinced that law is the best
pathway for myself, as it fits my passions and strengths, as well as meeting all my
needs and most of my wants. Despite there being many obstacles and challenges
in my way, most of them are arbitrary and can be solved. Law allows for me to meet
my goals, follow my passion, as well as benefiting myself on the way.
