To implement the Motion-Activated Security Camera System, the process begins by coding in the Arduino IDE,
where the firmware for the ESP32-CAM is developed. Once the code is finalized, it is uploaded onto the ESP32-
CAM board through the Arduino IDE, enabling the microcontroller to execute the specified functions
seamlessly. Simultaneously, the ESP32-CAM is connected to a programmer board, and the code is uploaded
onto the ESP32 using the programmer for efficient and accurate deployment.
Following the successful code upload, the next step involves creating a template on the Blynk IoT app. This
template is configured with the necessary widgets to enable remote monitoring and notifications. After setting
up the template, essential adjustments are made to integrate the Blynk app with the ESP32-CAM. Physical
connections are established, and a 5V supply is provided to the circuit for stable operation. Once the system is
powered, the PIR sensor, integral to the motion detection mechanism, senses any movement. In response, the
ESP32 notifies the user through the Blynk IoT app, initiating the capture of images. Users can conveniently view
these images through the Blynk app, offering a comprehensive surveillance experience.
V. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the development and integration of the Motion-Activated Security Camera System using the
ESP32-CAM and Blynk mark a significant stride towards creating a user-friendly and efficient DIY security
solution. The seamless collaboration between hardware and software components allows for a robust
surveillance mechanism, offering real-time notifications and remote monitoring capabilities. The user-centric
