1. INTRODUCTION
The proposed 9 storied residential building named Assort Ameena Park
View for MD. REAZ HASAN at plot no - 08, road no - 505, sector - 11
Jolshiri, abashan Narayanganj, have 2680 sft per floor area with 62.92 sft
length and 41.83 sft width.

All columns are connected with RC beam or slab in both directions.

Ground floor is structurally 10.0 ft (from grade beam to mezzanine floor)
and other are 10 ft high each. There is one stair case in the building. The
ground floor is used for car parking, EME room and guard room. There is
a mezzanine floor. The 1st to 8th floor shall be used for residential purposes.
Roof floor is used for open roof. In the roof, there is one lift machine room
and overhead water tank.

3. SUMMARY OF ANALYSIS FOR DESIGN
The Design of the Foundation has been prepared according to Sub-Soil
investigation Report and considering the BNBC 2020 load calculation
method.

All Sub-Structural and super-structural elements are designed with

sufficient strength for the building to ensure safe withstand of all the
superimposed Dead and Live loads combined with anticipated lateral loads
(Wind and Earthquake) possibly to be experienced by the Structure in its
Service life according to the guidance of BNBC 2020. The building has
been analyzed by ETABS software following BNBC 2020.

3.1 Load Applied on the Building for Analysis

A. Seismic Load:
Zone coefficient Z = 0.20 for Zone-2 (BNBC Table 6.2.15)
For occupancy category I, Importance factor I =1.0 (BNBC Table 6.2.17)
Response modification factor R= 5.5 (BNBC Table 6.2.19)
Soil factor S= 1.35 for soil type SD (BNBC Table 6.2.16)
Seismic design category = IMRF (Intermediate Moment Frame) (BNBC
Table 6.2.18)
The building period T according to Eqn. 6.2.38 is 1.21
