DISTRIBUTION PLAN TEMPLATE

- General overview -

Purpose: The distribution plan supports comprehensive planning of all distribution steps and should set the path for good distribution reporting.
It can be used for large-scale distributions, involving multiple locations and several communities.
It should be used by the programme team as a tool to coordinate with Logistics, Finance, HR (including mobilization of National Society's volunteers) and Security.
If possible, the distribution plan should be shared in advance with local authorities to ensure their support.

How to complete the tool: The template is given for several distributions planned over a period of four weeks but can be adapted for any length of time.
The geographical entities (villages, sub-villages etc.) should be adapted to the field context, to reflect all targeted communities.
