WHY
Why should you become a mentor ? Mentoring is the unique opportunity
where you can share your knowledge and experience and expand your
leadership skill. This is an investment in your team’s future and will
support the development of talent within the Tech organization.

HOW
The program is structured in two parts. It starts with online learning to
build fundamental knowledge, then moves through the practical phase,
with the focus being on development through mentoring, including job
shadowing and a project assignment.
The success of this initiative depends on the mentors. After the kickoff,
mentors will set up regular meetings with their mentees, facilitate job
shadowing, and track the mentee’s progress in the program. Mentors will
help the mentee to get hand on experience by involving them in the
ongoing projects.

the key steps in the mentorship phase:
▪ First mentoring session – mentor should review and reflect on e-
learning that the participant completed

capabilities with the participant so they can be practiced throughout
▪ Schedules – mentor should align with mentee in scheduling job
shadowing sessions and regular mentoring meetings
