WEEK No. 1
Duration of Week: from 16/01/2024 to 20/01/2024
Expected work/ Task/ Activities:
In the course of these automotive maintenance and repair tasks, specific actions are
anticipated for each scenario. For the XUV500, using a pneumatic gun is expected to
facilitate the swift removal of wheels. Changing the front carrier of the XUV300 involves
careful removal of the damaged component and precise installation of the new one,
particularly in the case of an accidental vehicle. Routine maintenance tasks such as
changing the air filter and observing sensors in the XUV300 require accessing and
replacing components as well as diagnostic assessments. Front suspension and lower arm
replacement on both sides of the XUV300 involves lifting the vehicle and ensuring
secure installation.

Day Date Activities Carried out (Use Separate page for more
information writing)

Summary: In this week I worked in Maintenance and service section. I worked on XUV500,
XUV300. The tasks involve routine maintenance such as changing gear wires and brake pads in the
XUV300 and XUV500, as well as more intricate procedures like engine dismantling in the XUV500
and gearbox removal in the Scorpio. Additionally, monitoring safety features like the airbag module,
inspecting sensors using an OBD scanner, and performing clutch system maintenance contribute to
overall vehicle health and functionality. These activities range from basic replacements to advanced
mechanical procedures, addressing both regular upkeep and more specialized automotive
maintenance needs.
