industries. For example, the development of the smartphone has led to the
creation of new apps and services that people rely on every day.

to be adopted by more people. The technology is becoming more affordable and
accessible, and it is starting to have a significant impact on the media landscape.

for the time being

 Increased profits: Businesses and organizations can make a lot of money

during the peak stage of a media technology. For example, the music
industry made a lot of money from selling CDs during the peak of the CD

increased competition, which can drive innovation. For example, the
competition between Apple and Samsung has led to the development of
new and innovative smartphones.
 Increased influence: Media technologies can have a significant influence
on society during the peak stage. For example, television has had a major
impact on culture and society since its invention.

DECLINE STAGE – This is the stage when a media technology begins to decline
in popularity. This can be due to a number of factors, such as the introduction of
new technologies or changes in consumer preferences.

 New opportunities for innovation: As media technologies decline, new

opportunities for innovation arise. For example, the decline of the CD
industry led to the rise of digital music streaming services.
 Lower prices: Media technologies often become more affordable during the
decline stage. For example, the price of TVs has decreased significantly
over the past few decades.
 New markets: Media technologies can find new markets during the decline
stage. For example, classic video games are now popular with collectors
and retro gamers.
ADAPTATION STAGE – This is the stage when a media technology adapts to new
conditions. This can involve integrating with other technologies or changing the
way it is used.

 Extended lifespan: Adaptation can help media technologies to extend their

lifespan. For example, the radio industry has adapted to new technologies
by offering streaming radio services.
 New revenue streams: Adaptation can help media companies to generate
new revenue streams. For example, the music industry is now generating
revenue from streaming services and digital downloads.
 New ways to connect with audiences: Adaptation can help media
companies to connect with their audiences in new ways. For example,
news organizations are now using social media to connect with readers
and viewers.

accessed hands-free. For example, smartwatches allow people to check
their notifications, make calls, and send texts without having to pull out
their phone.
 Health and fitness tracking: Wearable technology can be used to track
health and fitness data, such as heart rate, steps

3D TECHNOLOGY – 3D technology is a technology that creates three-dimensional

images and objects. 3D technology is used in a variety of industries, including

such as online courses, wearable technology, and 3D technology impacting its
progress to the world.” – QUINCY CHAUNCEY JOHN HERO MAIWAT
“ My message in our topic is that technology is really becoming more and more
useful and being part of our lives. And how it helps our studies, the process and

Our group started to planned the preparation of our presentation on Nov 9. By
giving parts and roles to each of members in our group, during our preparation
the members of our group choose what parts on the task they will do. Some of us
are confused and asking of how will they gonna do it, and what we will gonna do,
if it’s right or wrong. Asking some help, asking a questions and suggestions. But
eventually some of members are already sending their parts and explaining it to
us. In our group chat during preparations of our presentation there is teasing,
and funny moments. Which is good for our group because it give us a good
communication and connection to each other, it makes easy for us to comfortably
talk to each other and to communicate.
We also planned of how we will gonna present the presentation through online
class, the flow of every parts and who is the reporters. On November 14, we
presented our presentation through online classes, we reported and explain to
our classmates the Trends and Media Information and what is the stages of
Pattern of Development. During the presentation most of us are nervous and
worried about the outcome of presentation but we are all glad that we made it to
present our topic.
