Stakeholder - An individual or organization who shares the same interest in the fulfillment and success
of a project in a given community
- People, groups or institutions that may be affected by, can significantly influence or are
important to the achievement of the stated purpose of a community action initiative

Civic Obligation A responsibility of a citizen consisting of actions which include participation in


government, non-government organizations, and community activities

Psychosocial It helps individuals and communities to heal the psychological wounds and rebuild social

Community Action - Collective efforts done by people directed towards addressing social problems in order to

Human Rights - Universal and inalienable in nature, aims to identify the basis for determining the shape,
content and scope of fundamental public norms

Right to Life A moral principle based on the belief that a human has a right to live

Right to Liberty The right of all persons to freedom of their person-freedom of movement and freedom
from arbitrary detentions of others

Right to Property The right to own property, often classified as a human right for natural persons regarding
their possessions

Social Equity Equality and fairness in terms of the treatment of human beings, access to resources, and
life chances

Social Justice A societal value which guides human interaction and in particular, the fair distribution of
societies benefits advantages, and assets, not just by law and in the courts by all aspects
of society

Gender Equality The state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender,
including the state of valuing different behaviors, and aspirations

Participatory - Elicits the involvement of local population in creating policies and in planning,
