The proposed emergency application called "SAFEHANDS" can be used to

simplify the process of seeking help for the victim using a smartphone. With just one

click on the app, the users can easily ask for help because it has a live location to

expedite the response of the Morong Volunteers’ Emergency Response Team Inc.

(MVERT). This application also helps verify the authenticity of incidents. The application

will only cover the province of Rizal because there is only one voluntary group provided

in application which is Morong Volunteers’ Emergency Response Team Inc. (MVERT).

In the app, users first choose between signing up or logging in. Once logged in, they fill

out a registration form with details like name, mobile number, email, address etc. Next,

users select the type of incident (e.g., fire, theft, vehicular accident) and pinpoint the live

location for better identification by the volunteer group. Lastly, users will click "send" that

will have an automatic notification to the volunteer group and the volunteer group will

send the feedback as confirmation that they already received the notification. There's

also an option for users to add additional details, such as photos of where the incident

happened, and the mobile number of the volunteer group. The volunteer group will have

access to records of users they have assisted, specifying the municipality, barangay,

date, and time, enabling them to quickly generate reports if needed. The proposed

system is adaptable for updates to include more volunteer groups, not limited to Rizal

province but applicable to various areas in the Philippines.
