1. Tell about daily travel to and from university/work. Name different types of transport.

Advantages and
disadvantages of these types of transport.

I live near the institute and I have a wide choice of how to get to the institute. I can take a couple of bus
stops, or I can walk or take an electric scooter. For me, the best way of transportation is a walk. I'm
loaded, and once again walking down the street and getting some fresh air is nice for me. But the main
disadvantage is that this rarely happens, because I don't have time.

2. What unusual art have you heard about? Speak about types of music. What music do you prefer? Do
you have favorite songs and singers? Why?

French artist Anastasia Elias uses toilet rolls to create everyday scenes from life, she cuts an image out of
paper and puts it inside the roll, then she illuminates the image from the back, which creates a
silhouette.

Max Zorn sticks a brown packing tape on the glass sheets and lights them from the back. He creates dark
and light using thick or thin layers of tape.

I don't have any particular favorite artists and songs, I like music that brings pleasure and brings back
pleasant feelings. When I'm doing different things, different music plays in the background, which
creates a mood. At the moment, I haven't discovered my favorite genre of music for myself, because my
musical ear is not very developed.

3. Talk about the pros and cons of different jobs. How do they help society?

The first profession I want to talk about is a social worker. He helps people who have serious problems,
but in most cases he enjoys his work despite these problems. They help pensioners buy groceries, clean
an apartment, and can even provide medical assistance.

A doctor is also an important profession, because society needs them, they save human lives, they are
respected, and thanks to their knowledge, they can treat themselves. The main disadvantage is the lack
of the right to make a mistake.

4. Do you prefer to live in the city or in the country? Do you love where you live? Why/Why not? Tell
about your neighborhood. Location – is it convenient? Close to public transport? Appearance – is the
area clean, modern? People – who lives there? Is the place environmentally friendly?

I like to spend time in the countryside, but Moscow is not a bad city. I like the place where I live because
it is located next to the institute. My neighborhood is located next to a large forest park. It has
developed transport, as well as the metro. The appearance is normal. People of different ages live in the
area. The place is environmentally friendly.

5. How do you prefer to spend your free time? Talk about plans you have made for a weekend with
visitors.

This weekend is interesting for me, I spend it with my family. We are leaving for Kaliningrad. On
Saturday we have a tour of the city, where we will see the Cathedral, as well as German-built houses. In
the evening we will go out of town to look at the sea and the sunset, we will live next to it. On Sunday
morning we will go to the Curonian Spit to swim on the best beach. After it, we will go to the old castle,
where the cheese factory is located, to taste homemade cheese. In the evening we have a family dinner
and a flight home.

6. What symptoms do people usually have when they are ill? Speak about recommendations of staying
fit and healthy.

The main symptoms that indicate health problems are temperature, a cough, toothache, sunburn. The
most important recommendation not to get sick is to play sports. Running is a great exercise, you can
participate in marathons for fun. Team sports will help you find people who also take care of their
health. If a person is still ill, then you need to follow the recommendations for recovery.
