Materials:
– Bernat Super Value yarn in Lush Green, Berry Red, and Black (one skein of each). You will
need a bit of Gray for the buckle. Shop yarn at Yarnspirations.com!
– Size H Crochet Hook
– Tapestry Needle
– 2 black buttons (optional)

Size: Apron is approximately 17 inches wide and 17 inches tall (not including the neck strap)

I made this to fit children but it would be easy to add more rows to make it taller or add
more chains to your starting chain to make it wider.

2/4
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Now lets make the top of the apron.
Count 57 stitches in from the apron tie, in next stitch join in green yarn and chain 1
Row 46: SC along 26 stitches (leave remaining stitches unworked), chain 1, turn
Row 47-60: SC in each stitch across, chain 1, turn
Fasten off green yarn and join in red for the last 3 rows
Row 61-63: SC in each stitch across, chain 1, turn
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Neck Strap:
Note: If you make your starting chain fairly tight then it will naturally curve!
with red yarn, chain 51, SC in second chain from hook and the rest of the way down chain
(50 SC)
Row 2-3: SC in each stitch across, chain 1, turn (50 SC)
Fasten off and use loose ends to stitch the strap ends to the top edges of the apron.

Buckle:
With gray yarn
Magic Ring, Chain 1 and make 4 SC, SC + Chain 2 + SC in next (this makes a corner),
4 SC, SC + Chain 2 + SC, 4 SC, SC + Chain 2 + SC, 4 SC, SC + Chain 2 + SC, join, don’t pull tight
so it leaves an opening.
Sew buckle onto middle strap.

Pockets (make 2):

With red yarn
Chain 11, SC in second chain from hook and rest of the way down chain, chain 1, turn (10
SC)
Row 2-9: SC in each stitch across, chain 1, turn
Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew 3 sides of pocket onto bottom of apron. Leave top of the
pocket open!
