My Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings and good wishes from St. George’s.

First of all, I would like to thank all the parents for attending the PTM held on
last Friday wherein we had open sharing and discussions regarding the
reopening of the school next month. I trust that by and large the
apprehensions and worries about the safety measures that are in place in the
school and spelled out to you have had a reassuring effect.
I would like to remind you of the following points to be noted at the time of
bringing your ward back to school:
 STUDENTS WHO COME BY AIR ARE ADVISED NOT TO MAKE EARLY
BOOKINGS, BUT PLEASE WAIT TILL THE END OF THE MONTH. IF
THE SITUATION IMPROVES, WE HOPE TO OPEN SCHOOL ON THE 6 TH
SEPTEMBER FOR CLASSES 10 AND 12; 7TH SEPTEMBER FOR
CLASSES 9 AND 11.

 PARENTS WHO DROP THEIR WARDS BY CARS ARE REQUESTED TO

NOT OVERSTAY IN HOTELS IN THE TOWN. PARENTS AND THEIR
WARDS ARE TO PRESENT A NEGATIVE RT-PCR TEST NOT OLDER
THAN 48 HOURS IN ORDER TO BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE
CAMPUS.

 STUDENTS TRAVELLING BY AIR OR TRAIN WILL BE SEPARATELY

QUARINTINED FOR 3 DAYS. PRIOR INTIMATION OF THE MODE OF
TRAVEL IS TO BE SENT TO THE SCHOOL.

 PLEASE MAKE A THOROUGH STUDY OF THE SOP SENT ALONG WITH

THIS CIRCULAR IN ORDER TO FAMILIARISE YOURSELF AND YOUR
WARD OF THE PROTOCOL WHICH IS STRICTLY FOLLOWED IN THE
SCHOOL.

 CONSENT FORMS ARE TO BE DULY FILLED IN AND SENT TO THE

SCHOOL OFFICE AT LEAST 3 DAYS PRIOR TO RETURNING TO
SCHOOL.

 THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN VACCINATED MUST INFORM

THE SCHOOL WHETHER THEY HAVE TAKEN THE FIRST DOSE ONLY
OR HAVE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED. COPIES OF THE VACCINATION
CERTIFICATE MUST BE DEPOSITED IN THE SCHOOL.

 NO ELECTRONIC GADGETS WILL BE PERMITTED. MOBILE PHONES

AND TABLETS MUST BE HANDED OVER TO THE DORM-IN-CHARGE.
  ONLINE TRAINING AND COACHING BY EXTERNAL AGENCIES WILL
NOT BE PERMITTED FROM THE SCHOOL. NO EXCUSES OR
REQUESTS WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS REGARD.

 STUDENTS MUST CARRY ALL THEIR NOTE BOOKS, WRITTEN

ASSIGNMENTS AND TEXT BOOKS WITH THEM. UNIFORMS AND
ADEQUATE WARM CLOTHES MUST BE BROUGHT AS WELL.

 THE SCHOOL WILL CONTINUE WITH ONLINE AND OFF LINE

CLASSES.

 THE SCHOOL FEE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR TO BE PAID , WILL BE

INFORMED SHORTLY.

We look forward to your whole hearted support and co-operation which you
have always given us. This has given us the strength to survive these present
trials.
Together we shall work towards a joyful and fruitful school experience so as to
render a home away from home atmosphere to our beloved Manorites.
