“The proper oil level for the transformer is where the oil would cover only
half way up the top (X1, X2, X3) bushings. Looking through the access
cover from the top at the back of these bushings, you would fill to where the
oil level comes up only mid way on these bushings, they will not be
completely under the oil.
This is the proper oil level at approximately 25 degrees Centigrade. This
oil level will allow for expansion of the oil as the transformer gets hot under
loading. This oil level is based on the transformer being properly level at
filling, if it is tilted, you must allow for this”.

On PV 351 the amount of Oil is 60 Gallons.
