VESTOLIT G 171

Polyvinyl chloride for paste processing

VESTOLIT G 171 is an ultra-high molecular weight, fine


particle size homopolymer resin which provides the ability
to produce thin gauge coatings.

It also offers an excellent balance of fusion and end-


product mechanical property performance with good grind
performance.

Processing and Application


VESTOLIT G 171 fine particle size provides good dispersibility, improving the product throughput during
manufacturing process. The low residual emulsifier level provides good product performance in the areas of clarity,
moisture blush resistance, low taste and odor.

This resin may be used in FDA and EU food contact applications. Contact customer service for compliance
documentation.

Recommended for use in thin film applications.

Processing methods include:

Packaging, Delivery
in bags (20 kg, 50 lb.), supersacks (1,000 lb.)

Storage
The recommended storage conditions for the material are:
• Dry environment
• Not in the vicinity of direct or indirect heat sources

Shelf-life
According to the available experience, PVC can be stored almost without restrictions and can be used for months to
several years if stored properly. We recommend consumption within one year after delivery.
