with "SAUKHYAM," an organization for reusable pads, and is supported by an initiative led by Sri
Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, a spiritual and humanitarian leader. Ms. Divya Rai, the director for
outreach programs at SAUKHYAM, hosted the workshop. It was attended by over 50 students
and lady workers. Ten students actively participated and were rewarded with reusable menstrual
hygiene kits. The workshop aimed to spread awareness about menstrual health and hygiene
among those who had limited knowledge on the subject. It is essential to break myths and foster
comfort, not only making them feel at home but also empowering them to spread awareness
within their families. As a renowned organization, this is the least we can do for our hardworking
college cleaners. It all starts with them being healthy and maintaining hygiene in society, leading
to a happier life.
