1.

Poverty
Poverty is a global issue that affects billions of people, transcending borders, cultures,
and socioeconomic statuses. It deprives individuals and families of basic human rights,
including access to food, clean water, education, and healthcare (NRF, 2023). As everyone
needs sufficient capital to provide for themselves, those who does not is subject to
poverty. This issue is rather hypothetically solvable but there is no definitive solution yet. It
would be for the better if everyone with enough to share would donate since it will at the
very least alleviate the problem with poverty.

2. Freedom of Speech and Expression

Freedom of expression includes the right to hold opinions and to express them and the
right to the free flow of information and ideas across borders through any media. In a social
media platform, there is a freedom to comment, message, and to share many things. This
also causes some people to express their distaste against a certain person or idea. This leads
to many problems regarding opinions. It would be wise if we all stay true to the saying,
“think before you speak”, or in this case, type.

3. Population Growth
Overpopulation can be the result of the rapid population growth rate in a country. This
could lead to the increase of the needs of the country as a whole. The main causes of this is
the lack of family planning and perhaps the lack of sexual education. A simple way to resolve
this issue would be for the communities to provide programs in which people would become
enlightened about things such as family planning.

4. Violence/Abuse Against Women

A lot of women in the world have experienced at least some form of abuse from the
opposite gender. Although at the present, there are laws that protects women and children.
The law can only be beneficial to those who knows how to utilize it. If they stay silent, the
law can’t do anything about it. In summary, people should learn about how the laws benefits
and protects every individual.

5. Climate Change
Around the world, climate change is but a natural occurrence. This may change
depending on the behaviour of the inhabitants of a certain ecosystem. If they do things such
as polluting the environment, this may cause a drastic change in the climate. It would be
beneficial for us as inhabitants if we refrain from doing things that may cause harm to us in
the long term.
