The moon is a natural


satellite that orbits another
heavenly body in space.

They cause water tides, they


stabilize earth’s climate and
they can be used as a basis of
calendar and length of day.

The moon has 8 phases,


namely: New Moon, Waning
Crescent, Waxing Crescent,
Full Moon, Waxing Gibbous,
Waning Gibbous, First
Quarter and lastly, Last
Quarter .

The Moon is the earth’s only


natural satellite. It is the 5th
Satellite in our solar system.
The people who visit the
moon are the astronauts.
STARS

Stars are a natural


luminous body that are
visible, especially at night.
STARS

They have huge celestial bodies


made of gas, they can produce
light and heat, and they are also the
building blocks of galaxy.
STARS

The stars have different colors,


and different temperature. The
hottest star is the blue star,
followed by white stars, yellow
stars and lastly, the coolest, red
stars.

Stars have different shapes. Stars


are very important because they
make life here at earth.
STARS

Stars do not last forever. Stars who


die will result in an supernova.
CONSTELLATIONS

Constellations are a group of stars


that form particular shapes and
patterns. The shapes are usually
named after myth characters,
people and objects.
CONSTELLATIONS

Zodiac Constellations have 12


zodiacs namely: Aries, Taurus,
Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo,
Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius,
Capricorn, Aquarius and
Pisces.

Constellations can be seen at


night but what you can see
depends on the time of year.
