Equipment list: Year 9 Outdoor Education Camp

Please see list of equipment you will need to provide for upcoming camp to cathedral Range,
please keep in mind all belongings must fit into your tent.


Student provided: Socks

 Gloves / beanie (for cold weather)


Camping:
 Swimwear for surfing (wetsuit will be provided)
 Sleeping bag (designed for the specific climate)/
Pillow.
Accessories/toiletries:
Cooking:
 Drink bottle – min 2 L. (Teacher will provide drinking
water for you to fill up your drink bottle)
 All food for 2 days (food to be cooked, snacks and
other non-perishables) we will discuss and create a
menu in class, you will cook with a partner.  Sun hat and sunglasses

 Plates/bowls/utensils (fork, spoon, knife to eat with)  Torch/headtorch

 Cup/mug (plastic or metal, nothing breakable)  Sunscreen

 Rubbish bags.  Deodorant

Clothing:  Insect repellent

 Weather-appropriate clothing, including.  Toothbrush and toothpaste

-Base layers (thermals, wicker clothing for hiking and  Baby wipes (no showers)
sleeping in)
 Tissues
-Middle layers (warm layers, fleece, jumpers,
jackets, tracksuit pants, long sleeves for sun
protection and warmth, etc)  Prescription medication

-Outerwear (raincoat, insulated jacket)  Menstrual products
