CAUTIONS
When moving the X-ray cart, take care that the casters of the X-ray cart do not run over the feet
of the operator or patient. Otherwise, it may cause injury to the operator or patient.
CAUTIONS
● Transmit frequencies available vary, depending on the country.
● Radio waves in the 5.2GHz frequency band can be used indoors only. (For Egypt)
Dual channels can be used indoors only.
● When this system and any other wireless equipment are operating on the same frequency
channel in a hospital, it may take time to show an image on the image processing unit
monitor.
● The access point supports the DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) function conforming to
IEEE 802.11n. When radio waves in the 5.3GHz and 5.6GHz frequency bands are selected, the
channel may be changed automatically in order to avoid interference to weather radar, etc.
● Even during start-up, the access point checks if there are any radar waves. While the check
is in progress, communication with the access point is not available.
● If a radar wave is detected, the radar wave is monitored for a specified time (about 1
minute)*. While monitoring the radar wave, wireless communication is not available. In
addition, about 30 minutes are required until the channel in which a radar wave was detected
becomes available.
* 10 minutes for the 120 to 128 channels in Europe

CAUTIONS
● Be sure to turn off the power before cleaning or disinfecting each part of the X-ray cart. If the
power is left on, inadvertent contact to the X-ray cart may result in unintentional operations.
● Do not use an excessive amount of ethanol, as doing so may allow the liquid to enter from
the gap on the outer surfaces, resulting in the damage to the equipment, or cause the labels
to come off. Make sure not to let ethanol get inside the equipment.
● Do not use a solvent such as thinner or benzine, as it corrodes the outer surfaces.
● Use dehydrated ethanol or ethanol diluted with purified water.
● When cleaning or disinfecting the operation panel, observe the following precautions.
• Do not rub or hit the operation panel with something hard since it can easily be scratched.
• If any dust adheres to the operation panel, wipe it off with a soft cloth moistened with
water.
5 In addition, if the radiation field size is small or if a low-dose exposure condition is applied, the
calculated value may deviate from the actual exposure dose by more than approximately 25%.
When the opening degree of the upper blade, lower blade or both blades becomes narrower than
the specified level, the dose area product display is displayed as “0”.
Daily Inspection and Maintenance
5.1.4 Aging
When using the X-ray cart, perform aging to prevent the X-ray tube from deterioration.
2 Switch the X-ray cart to the non-linking mode for memory exposure.
Press and hold the DR link switch on the X-ray controller for two seconds to turn off the DR link switch.
CAUTIONS
To prevent the human body from being exposed to X-ray radiation, irradiate X-rays toward the
floor. Before performing aging, move the flat panel sensor away from the X-ray radiation field
so as not to irradiate X-rays onto the flat panel sensor.
Warm Up Aging
At the beginning of the day, perform aging under the following conditions before using the X-ray cart.
This aging suppresses the tube current instability, keeping the X-ray tube in a stable condition.
Step Tube voltage (kV) mAs Interval (s) Number of times
1 80 25 60 5

CAUTIONS
● If aging is not performed, the X-ray tube assembly may discharge.
● When aging is performed, the overcurrent protection circuit may be activated, resulting in an
error. If this happens, clear the error by turning the key switch off and on, and perform aging
again. If this error occurs frequently, contact our official dealer or FUJIFILM Representative.
