GROUP MEMBERS:
Bistro.
A bistro is a small, casual, and cozy kind of restaurant, known to offer a limited
but thoughtfully curated menu of classic and comforting dishes. It is usually with
French influence. The term bistro is a French word, associated with a typical type
of food and drinks. This establishment always prioritizes or uses quality and fresh
ingredients, aiming to deliver delicious, moderately priced meals.
1. Concise menu :
• Bistros usually have a menu of appetizers, entrees, and desserts to show
quality over quantity.
2. Atmosphere :
• Bistro establishments have an intimate and cozy atmosphere, often with
dim lighting and relaxing settings.
3. Service :
• Informal and welcoming environment.
4. Menu :
• Dishes like escargot and bourguignon.
Fine Dining Restaurant.
1. Gourmet cuisine:
• Offer a menu featuring gourmet and crafted dishes, often prepared with
exotic or rare ingredients.
2. Atmosphere:
• This establishment has a sophisticated and formal ambiance with
luxurious decoration and settings.
3. Service:
• The service staff is professionally trained to provide an attentive,
knowledgeable, and to enhance the dining experience.
4. Menus:
• Some fine dining restaurant has a prix fix menu and customer can
choose from a set menu with multiple courses.
Ethnic Restaurant.
1. Diverse menu:
• The menu typically features a wide range of dishes, including
appetizers, main courses, and desserts to show the cuisine’s diversity.
2. Atmosphere:
• The decorations, music, colour, and overall design of the restaurant will
represent the culture or region of the cuisine that want to be serve.
3. Service:
• Some ethnic restaurants will provide an educational aspect to teach
other people by explaining the cultural dishes or ingredients.
4. Menus:
• Use specialized ingredient and spices to maintain the authenticity of
their dishes.
Themed Restaurant
1. Unique concept:
• Using a unique concept such as a historical era, a movie, or a fantasy
world.
2. Atmosphere:
• The restaurant’s ambiance, decoration, interior design, and staff attire
are carefully chosen to match their chosen theme.
3. Target audience :
• Fans of particular movies, TV shows, or pop culture phenomenon
because this establishment usually has interactive performances such as
costumed characters, live performances, or themed events to enhance
the experience.
4. Menu :
• Dishes and drinks designed to match the concept. This can involve
creative and playful kind of traditional foods.
Fast-food restaurant (counter service).
Fast-food restaurants with a counter service are a common type of food service
operations that are quick, fast, and convenient dining. It is an affordable meal
without any formality of sit-down dining. This establishment is popular with their
efficiency and ability to serve a lot of customers in a short period.
1. Counter ordering:
• Customers need to order at a counter or service area, where they can
choose their own meal from the standardized menu.
2. Affordable price:
• Pricing is budget-friendly making it accessible to a lot of people.
3. Atmosphere:
• A lot of fast-food restaurants offer drive-thru and takeout options. In
some cases, customers are responsible for picking up their orders at the
counter, filling their own drinks, and throw away their own trash in the
designated places.

• Limited menu, focusing on a few core items, which are produce
consistently.

Fast-food restaurants with table service are referred to as “fast casual” restaurants
that combine traditional fast food with sit-down dining. Its aim is to provide a
mid-ground dining experience. This type of food operation is popular among
people who seek a balance between speed and a more relaxed dining experience.

• Customers need to take their own selected food items from various
serving stations or buffet style setup.
2. Atmosphere:
• This establishment has an limited ambiance that focus just on
practically and efficiency rather than a luxurious dining atmosphere.
3. Operation time:
• Cafeteria in institutional usually operate at specific hours align with the
schedule of that place such as office hours or school hours.
4. Menus:
• Cafeteria are designed to serve a lot of customers in one time efficiently
and quickly and their menu focused on a balanced and nutritional meals,
especially in educational and healthcare facilities.

drinks, alcoholic drinks, mocktails, cocktails, and more.
2. Atmosphere:

• Have a lot of concepts such as cafes, bars, lounges, juice bars, or even
standalone beverage kiosks.
4. Menus:
