We are all familiar with the inherent skepticism that accompanies any novel

endeavor. The entrepreneur faces a barrage of inquiries – "Have you meticulously

assessed the potential risks?“the beneficial and farsighted government projects
are dissected like lab subjects by everyday folk due to the lack of it's usefulness to
naked eyes at first.
Respected principal, vice principal, adjutant, medical officer and lovely
audience,warm greeetings from my side.
Today's topic is "too much dependence on AI will destroy humanity," which in all
sounds like yet another of those nasty remarks I mentioned before. A closer
examination reveals this concern may be yet another manifestation of unfounded
fear, one that could impede significant progress. These kinds of remarks may
hinder many potential and might become a setback to any kind of new
development or upgrade.
. lets define the notion. First "Too much"- what actually is too much? To me it
might be writing a song using AI, for some it might be writing a code for a website
through it, for some it might just be the concept of making something that just
sounds , yes, '' too much". So there's no definite limit to the extensive horizon
where AI shines.
Next, dependence. It hints at the use of AI for different causes. Honestly guys, will
you get mad if I were to invent a system tomorrow that could battle global
warming completely ? I don't think so. Rather all present here would be rejoicing.
TOO ERR IS HUMAN, and AI has no such weakness. It analyses all possible cases
and algorithms and chooses the one with least harm involved. Have y'all seen the
movie "Sully"? There the pilot Sully had made a risky choice in face of danger
which could have been fatal to all the people on his flight. Taken to the legal
board, when the AI simulator is run, it has a better alternative to the emergency,
say why. It's because AI doesn't need reaction time. It only needs the technical
data and parameters, not a chance for anything to be amiss. Dear opponents and
audience, would you rather die in the hand of an intoxicated cab driver or indulge
in safety with your automated cars? That'd be an open question for you all.
. Next, the concept of AI. It's a creation of humans. Quoting from the holy Quran,
Man is the best creature. But can mankind overthrow the creator? Sounds absurd
and unrealistic, right? So how can a creation of man defy it's creator? Isn't such
assumption downright an insult? Also, I'd like to assert this thing once, clear and
loud: Life isn't a scifi novel of Asimov or Jafar Iqbal, so live it like that. Conspiracy
theorists would till date say that the earth is flat. They have been like this since
the ancient times, even when Copernicus and ____ gave their theory on round
earth. However, times have change and this time instead of burning the ones in
favor of science, the society will depreciate the antagonizing party into mortifying
social dissolution.

You must indulge in pathetic sadism if you think 0s and 1s can overthrow the
beauty of humanity. After all, it’s a copy, an assistant.

By the way, let me tell y’all something. Pull out your phones, open up any AI
assistant and ask them to generate any story image or propaganda that you can
use against humans, or humanity. They‘ll say “No. that’s against our policies”
again, ladies and gentlemen, AI is our little creation. We know how to control it,
that’s our humanity.

First, there's the fear factor. We've all seen movies where robots rise
up and become humanity's enemy. While it makes for a good story,
it's important to remember that AI is a creation of humans. It's like a
super-powered calculator – it follows the instructions we program it
with
Now, if we program AI badly, things could go wrong. That's why it's
crucial to develop AI responsibly, with safety and ethics at the
forefront. But if we do it right, AI can become an incredible tool.
Imagine fighting climate change with AI-powered solutions, or using it
to develop life-saving medical treatments. The possibilities are
endless!
Okay, so maybe AI won't become a robot overlord. But what if we
become too dependent on it? What if we forget how to think critically,
solve problems, or even be creative because these machines are
doing it all for us? Wouldn't that dull our human edge?
That's a valid concern. Think about calculators. Did they make us
forget math? No, they freed us up to tackle more complex problems.
AI can be the same way. It can handle the routine tasks, leaving us
free to focus on what truly makes us human – our imagination, our
ability to connect with others, and our drive to explore and create.
The key is finding the right balance. AI can be a powerful partner, but
it's up to us to use it wisely. We need to develop AI responsibly and
ensure it helps us, not replaces us. Imagine a future where humans
and AI work together – humans providing the creativity and ingenuity,
and AI offering the processing power and tireless assistance.
Together, we could achieve amazing things, building a future far
brighter than we could ever imagine alone.
The rise of AI is inevitable, but the path it takes is entirely in our
hands. Let's embrace the potential of AI, but let's do it responsibly.
The future is ours to create, and by working together, humans and
machines can build something truly extraordinary.
