Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing on behalf of myself and my friends to draw your attention to an incident that took
place at the Helios Cinema last Saturday. I would like to make a formal complain about the
way we were treated by staff of the cinema.

Last Saturday, some friends and I met in the Cinema Helios. We were watching a movie and
enjoying ourselves when the cinema hall manager approached to our seats and accused us of
throwing popcorn around. When we tried to reason with him, he immediately called security.
A moment later, two guards arrived and forces us to leave the cinema. To make matters worse,
they threatened to call the police and told us not to return in the future.

We are particularly upset because the truth is we were not throwing popcorn. We did not even
have and food with us. To be honest, we were amazed that the cinema security guards are
allowed to treat spectators in this way. Without doubt, the worst point of this whole incident is
being thrown of the crowded cinema like criminals. We were so humiliated that we decided to
contact you and complain.

As the manager of the cinema, we urge you to reconsider your policies towards teenage
spectators. It is simply unfair to discriminate against young people in this way. We have
contacted the local media about the incident and look forward to your respons.

Your faithfully,

Julia Małysa
