в 6 классе.

Тема: Weather. Weather forecast.

Цель и задачи фрагмента урока:

Практическая цель: формирование речевых умений логически последовательно излагать мысли в

письменном высказывании о погоде и окружении.

Сопутствующая практическая цель: совершенствование грамматических навыков использования

глаголов и построения предложений в Past Simple и Present Simple.

2.1 Вступление учителя. Постановка коммуникативной задачи.

T: Student, this week was quit rainy and probably you feel sad. But, do you know that it is favorite
weather of the British? So it is time to talk about weather. We will learn to write and talk about it.

2.2 Актуализация жизненного опыта учащихся по содержанию текста, снятие возможных языковых
трудностей, работа с заголовком и иллюстрированным материалом к тексту образцу.
T: Ok, now let’s talk about weather. There are some pictures, words and thermometers in your papers.
Can you see them clearly?

S: Of course.

T: Try to guess which words are from which picture. The temperature will help you.

( words: sunny, cold, warm, wet, hot, foggy, cloudy, frosty, clear, windy, rainy, to snow, to rain, to
blow, to shine, rainbow, rainstorm, calm, misty, changeable,).

T: Nice, please tell me about the weather which is quite usual for you, about what you like, and about
what you don’t. Also, please mention when it was last time. For example, I really like rainy weather. I
feel comfortable in my chair looking through .a window. As you know we could see this type yesterday.

S3: I like sunny weather. Last time it was in summer….

T: Excellent. Than you can see a title of the text below. Do you have any ideas, how are they connected?

S4: It is a weather forecast.

2.3 Чтение текстового образца и понимание его содержания.

T: Let’s read the text

Text:

Welcome to the weather forecast. Let's see what the weather will be like tomorrow.

It will be rather cold during this day. The temperatures will be 2 — 5 below zero at night and 0 — 1
above zero in the daytime.
There is a chance of some snow at night and during the day there will be some clear and sunny hours.
Still don't forget your hats and scarves as the day will be windy.

Tomorrow we are going to have a nice spring day. It will be mostly clear and sunny. The day
temperatures will rise up to 14 degrees above zero. The sun will be shining all day long. It will be a bit
windy and partly cloudy in the morning, but quite calm during the day time. The weather will be
excellent for long walks, so don’t miss an opportunity to spend time outdoors!

Good evening! Finally, after a long and cold winter we will enjoy some warmer weather next week.
However, the nights will still be cold with a coldest night on Monday with the temperature zero degrees
and a warmest night on Tuesday with the temperature 7 degrees above zero.

Monday will be quite a warm and nice day with a high near 10 degrees above zero and slight rain in the
evening. It will be warmer on Tuesday, but still partly cloudy and with a small rain during the daytime.
The last day of March, which is Wednesday, will bring us warm weather with no precipitation. Thursday
will be the best day to spend outside next week. It will be clear, calm and sunny with a high about 10
degrees above zero. On Friday it will be partly cloudy but still calm.

The weather will change on the weekend. Cloudy and windy weather together with showers during the
daytime will prevent you from going for long walks or spending much time outside. But be patient –
spring is in the air!

T: Write your weather forecast for tomorrow and for the next weak. Look at the data below, it will help
you to do it.
