Post Activity Report on the Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign


Municipality of San Agustin, Year 2023

Introduction:

The Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign implemented by the local Philippine National Police (PNP) in
the municipality of San Agustin in 2023 focused on twenty-three (23) barangays. The campaign
emphasized Information Dissemination, Strengthening of the Lupong Tagapamayapa, and continuous
build-up of Intelligence network to monitor and operate Anti-drug programs in the locality. This
report provides an overview of the campaign's activities, accomplishments, challenges faced, and
recommendations for future actions.

Activities Conducted:

1. Information Dissemination Campaign: The PNP conducted various information campaigns in


each barangay to educate the public about the dangers of illegal drugs, the importance of
reporting drug-related activities, and the available rehabilitation programs.

2. Strengthening of the Lupong Tagapamayapa: The PNP collaborated with the Lupong
Tagapamayapa in each barangay to enhance their capacity to resolve drug-related conflicts at
the community level and provide support for drug dependents.

3. Continuous Build-up of Intelligence Network: The PNP established and maintained an


intelligence network to monitor drug activities, gather information on drug syndicates, and
conduct operations to apprehend suspects.

Accomplishments:

1. Increased Awareness: The information dissemination campaigns resulted in increased


awareness among the residents of each barangay about the dangers of illegal drugs, leading
to more reports of drug-related activities.

2. Enhanced Community Resolution: The strengthening of the Lupon Tagapamayapa


contributed to the resolution of drug-related conflicts at the community level, reducing the
need for police intervention.
3. Improved Intelligence Network: The continuous build-up of the intelligence network
improved the PNP's ability to monitor drug activities, gather actionable intelligence, and
conduct successful operations against drug syndicates.

Challenges Faced:

1. Limited Resources: The campaign faced challenges due to limited manpower, equipment,
and funding, which affected the scale and effectiveness of operations.

Recommendations:

1. Increased Resources: Allocate more resources, including manpower, equipment, and


funding, to support the campaign's activities in each barangay.

2. Enhanced Collaboration: Strengthen collaboration with the Lupon Tagapamayapa, local


government units, and other stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of community-based
interventions.

3. Sustained Information Campaigns: Continue and expand information dissemination


campaigns to maintain and increase awareness among residents about the dangers of illegal
drugs and available support services.

Conclusion:

The Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign in the twenty-three (23) barangays of San Agustin in 2023
achieved significant success in increasing awareness, enhancing community resolution, and
improving the intelligence network. Continued efforts, collaboration, and resource allocation are
essential for the sustained success of the campaign in each barangay.
