Notes
❖ use the same yarn weight for the doll and clothes.
❖ each round is worked in a continuous spiral (unless stated otherwise).
❖ read through the pattern completely before beginning to crochet.
❖ work through the entire stitch (not FLO or BLO) unless stated otherwise.
❖ use a stitch marker to mark the rounds and count your stitches!
❖ try to crochet tightly to avoid holes (unless stated otherwise).

Lumine’s head can be quite heavy depending of the yarn weight you use. To avoid a floppy head you can insert a piece of
wire inside the body and neck.

covers as shown

shown in the picture

create a patterns that looks pretty nice), change

Indenting Eyes
❖ Skin colour
1• Insert the yarn from the back of the head to the side
of the eye, pass the yarn behind the eye and insert it
back in to pull it next to the other eye.
2• Pull the yarn behind the eye and finish bringing the
needle to the starting point. Pull to indent the eyes a
bit and tie the ends. Hide the knot inside the head

❖ Pink, Black
1• Insert the yarn from the back of the head to the
bottom of the eye, make a line of two stitches and
repeat on the other side.

Leaves
❖ Blue
1• 8ch, starting from the 2nd, 2slst, 4sc,
1slst
2• Continue with 7ch, starting from the
2nd, 2slst, 3sc, 1slst, leave tail to attach
to hat

Flower
❖ White, Blue
1• Start with magic ring in white

2• 5ch, from the 2nd chain, 1slst, 1sc, 1hdc,

1sc, sc in the magic ring

3• Make 5 petals in total repeating step 2

(4 white and 1 blue)

Small flower

1• Start with magic ring

2• 4ch, from the 2nd chain, 1slst, 2sc, sc in

the magic ring

4• Wrap yellow yarn in your finger, wrap
the yarn with a piece of yellow yarn and
tie it. Cut the ends

5• Insert the yellow yarn inside the magic

ring and close the magic ring entirely

6• Tie the two white ends and then tie one

white with one yellow to keep the yellow
yarn in place

Assembling
Body
1• Attach the top, add blue and black to decorate

2• Attach skirt

3• Attach skirt cover

Belt
1• Attach the belt, make sure the belt is on top of the
skirt cover sides
2• Add a long chain in the same colour as the belt to
cover the belt thread

Arms
1• We are going to do a simple loop to allow the hands
to move
2• Start inserting the needle in the interior of the arm,
pass it back in the next stitch
3• Pass the needle from one side of the body to the
other side
4• insert the needle in the other arm interior, pass it
back in the next stitch
5• Insert the needle in the same stitch of the body to
return it back to the other side

6• Tie a knot in the interior of the arm and cut the yarn
excess

Scarf
1• Attach the collar to the neck

2• Sew the scarf behind the neck to keep it in place

Head
1• Insert the skin colour yarn from side to side on the
neck
2• Pass each end from the bottom of the head to the top
of the head
3• Make a knot in the top of the head and hide the yarn
inside the head

Hair
❖ Yellow
R1 • Magic ring 6sc [6]

Assembling the hair and flowers

We are almost done…

1• Make sure to align the centre of the hair and the

centre of the head. Use pins to hold the hair in place
2• Once you have all the hair strands in the position you
like, either glue or sew the hair strands
3• Position flowers and the leaves on the head
