Scrump from Lilo & Stitch

DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Easy

SIZE
Approximately 4.2’’ tall (10.5 cm) up to the bow, 5.2” tall (13 cm) up to the hair.

GAUGE
Stitch tight enough in order to reduce the gap of the fibre fill.

- Soft Cotton yarn 4 or 5 ply, with colours variant:

• Lime Green
or • Soft Pink
• Soft Yellow
- Acrylic yarn/ Milk cotton yarn • Red
(around 40% Milk Fiber, 60% Cotton) • Black

Buttons Ø 11 mm, with colours variant:

• Black
• Light Blue
Poly fibre-fills -
Crochet Hook 2.25 mm or 3/0, feel free to adjust with your
own yarn.

HEAD:
In lime green:
R1: Start with 8sc in magic ring (8)
R2: inc 8 times (16)
R3: (sc, inc) x 8 (24)
R4: (sc 2, inc) x 8 (32)
R5: (sc 3, inc) x 8 (40)
R6: (sc 4, inc) x 8 (48)
R7: (sc 5, inc) x 8 (56)
R8-R20: sc 56 (56)
R21: (sc 5, dec) x 8 (48)

R23: (sc 2, dec) x 10 (30)

R25: dec 10 (10), stuff the head with fibre-fill completely.

Cut the yarn, and finish off.

Stuff the legs with fibre-fill, cut the yarn, and leave the tail to sew to the body.

ARMS (x2 pieces):

In lime green:
R1: Start 6sc in magic ring (6)
R2: inc 6 times (12)
R3-R5: sc 12 (12)
R6: (sc 2, dec) x 3 (9)
R7-R9: sc 9 (9)
Stuff the arms with fibre-fill but not too much and
cut the yarn. Sew the opening, and leave the tail
to sew to the body.

BOW:

In soft pink:

R1: Start with ch 36, ss to the first stitch.

R2-R8: sc 36 (36)

Cut the yarn, clean fasten off, and leave a long tail.

Pinch the bow in the middle, and tie up tightly.

*How to clean fasten off:
After you cut the yarn, insert the tail underneath the stitch beside your last stitch, and then pull it
back through your last loop (picture).

MIDDLE PART OF THE BOW:

In soft pink:

Start with ch 15, turn, sc 14 (adjustable)

Cut the yarn long enough and sew to

close the bow (picture). Leave the tail at
bottom position to sew to the head.

HAIR:

In soft yellow:

There are 5 pieces of hair that I made:

Work in magic ring:

- Ch 10, turn, sc 10, ss to the magic ring (10)

- Ch 13, turn, sc 12, ss to the magic ring (12)
- Ch 15, turn, sc 14, ss to the magic ring (14)
- Ch 13, turn, sc 12, ss to the magic ring (12)
- Ch 11, turn, sc 10, ss to the magic ring (10)

Cut the yarn, pull the short tail tightly, and leave the long tail to sew to the head.
ASSEMBLY:

1. Before you sew all the parts together, you should pin them in the place you desire to see
how it finish.
2. Sew the body to the head.
3. Attach both legs to the body.
4. Sew the arms to the body between 2nd row and 4th row (around 30o angle). See the picture.
 5. Attach the bow in the middle top of the head.
6. Sew the hair to the head.

COLLAR:

In red:

Start with ch 25, ss to the first stitch.

Sc 25, and clean fasten off.

FACE:

1. Sew the buttons between 14th and row 17th from the top with about 11 stitch gap.

11 stitch 14th row-

17th row
 2. Pin on some spots to mark the sewing of the mouth. (18th row and 19th row)
3. Embroidery the mouth curve as the picture shown with black yarn.
4. Sew the vertical embroidery using the red yarn with 2 stitch gap each by following the
black yarn.
