Tips to answer this: Keep it simple and short, talk about things that matter, start by discussing your
current situation, work backwards by hitting key points in your journey, connect your background,
interest and qualifications back-to-back.

Sample Answer: Good Morning/Good Afternoon Sir. My Name is Savinay Sharma. I belong to a place
which is called queen of hills, Shimla. Currently, I live in Delhi – NCR. I have done six months
internship from HUL as operations executive. I am currently in final trimester of PGDM, specializing in
Supply Chain Management. I did my graduation in Engineering specializing in Mechanical Engineering. My
schooling is from BCS, Shimla. My biggest accomplishment has been achieving scholastic position during
engineering. My most recent project has been analysing the market trend in manufacturing sector. Other
projects to my credit are ………………. My main interest is in improving operations efficiency and analysing
the opportunities in supply chain area in India. I completed various MOOCs from Coursera and EDX in

Sample Answer: I got an opportunity to undertake on the job training at Celebal Technologies. I
worked on expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing
data flow and collection for cross functional teams. Also acted as data pipeline builder and data
wrangler I enjoyed optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. During my
internship, I created and maintained optimal data pipeline architecture; assembled large, complex
data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements; Identified, designed and
implemented internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data
delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Completing these tasks gave me a
practical exposure towards the concepts that I learned during my academic tenure

Sample Answer: I belong to a place which is called ‘queen of hills’ called Shimla. The name “Shimla”
is derived from the name of a Goddess – Shyamala Devi who is considered as an incarnation of
another Hindu Goddess “Kali”. The Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, scandal point and Kalka
Shimla toy train are things for which my hometown is famous for.

operations in India, USA, UK and Singapore.

Question – 6: What do you know about the products/services offered by our company?

Tips to answer this: Before appearing for the interview, go through the company’s website and read
the ‘Our Products’ or ‘Our Services’ section thoroughly

Sample Answer: Sir, when I was going through the website of your organization. You offer services in
the area of Azure, Data Services, Big Data, SAP Surround and MS Teams. Your products include
Intelligent Enterprise Solution, Supply Chain Solution, Chatbots to name a few.

Question – 7: Who do you think are our competitors?

Tips to answer this: Before appearing in the interview, take out time to conduct a competitor
analysis for the company.

Sample Answer: In the area of providing tech services, according to analysis that I did I would say,
SupraSoft Technologies, Nineleaps, Metacube Software are few competitors that Celebal
Technologies has. I might get more idea about the competitors once I start working here.

Question – 8: Why are you pursuing this program (PGDM/MBA)?

Tips to answer this: Link this to your bachelor’s degree and your interest in management field. You
can also include your specific interest in niche area. Link your career goals, learning needs, skills you
want to develop

Sample Answer: Sir, I believe MBA is a perfect blend of improving one’s knowledge of business
management as well as ensuring skill development and personal growth thus pushing towards my
limits and becoming the best version of myself! have chosen this MBA as a catalyst of career change
from Engineering to Operations Management as I have always been inclined more towards
administration and management and pursuing this acclaimed MBA from Lloyd can provide me with

Tips to answer this: Try to include facts like good working environment and career growth and other
facts that showcases that you have done some extra effort to find out the functioning of the
organization. Avoid mentioning materialistic things like onsite opportunities and salary.

Sample Answer: Sir, while I was preparing for this interview, I got an opportunity to interact with
one of my seniors who is currently working here. I got to know that your organization has the best
working environment and has employee friendly policies. Also, yours is one of the fastest growing
companies in India. These are few reasons why I want to be a part of this organization so that I can
also start and nurture my career here.
Question – 10: Why should we hire you?

Tips to answer this: To answer this, pick keywords from the Job Description. See if the keywords
match with your professional strengths and formulate an answer.

Sample Answer: Sir, I would like to tell you that I am a person who works dedicatedly on the
assigned task. I have been appreciated many times by my superiors for this when I was undergoing
my On-the-Job Training. I can perform analytical reviews where qualitative or quantitative analysis is
required. In addition to this, I have strong written and spoken communication skills. With the due
course of time, I have attained proficiency in MS tools like word, excel, power point and also have a
general understanding of data analysis techniques. I believe these are some of the reasons that you
should consider hiring me.

Tips to answer this: Focus on your past accomplishments, sync in with the organization’s goals, be
specific, be logical.

Sample Answer: Sir, as I mentioned, I am good at analytical qualitative and quantitative analysis, and
my past achievements showcase that I am determined for the task that I take up. I believe these
skills will be beneficial to the organization in achieving the task efficiencies in the beginning, followed

Tips to answer this: Think about the things, position, situations related to your professional life that
you have thought about achieving. Check if it matches the organization, offered career path. If yes,

goal. Ensure you list SMART Goals (S – Specific, M – Measurable, A – Action-oriented, R – Relevant, T

Sample Answer: In next 5 years, I wish to see myself as a team-lead in business analytics division. As
by that time, I would have acquired sufficient operational knowledge, so along with contributing in
analytics domain, I can also guide a few numbers of people to be in sync with the organization’s
objective

Tips to answer this: Study about the chosen industry, find a logical match between the chosen
industry and your skills.
Sample Answer: Although the field of data analytics is universal across industries, but I have chosen
this particular industry because software services industry in very dynamic and will have huge
demand in future. As organizations are moving to cloud services, big data services and artificial
intelligence; this industry will impact a lot of organizations in a better way. I want to be a part of this
change and cannot wait more to begin this exciting journey.

Question – 15: Why have you chosen Lloyd Business School for your academic program?

Sample Answer: There were many factors that I compared the prospective colleges for, before
seeking admission into this program. Comparing the course curriculum, type of placements, faculty
member’s profile were a few of them. I found that Lloyd Business School was doing great in these
