OBJECTIVE 14

ANNOTATION:
This is a screenshot of a video of regularly reviewing one’s teaching practices. With the help and guidance of
my HUMSS and Research Subject Group Head, Maam Amylyn F. Labasano, PhD, we were able to review the
different teaching practices using existing laws and regu;ations that apply to the teaching profession and the
responsibilities specified in the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers.

It is very clear in ARTICLE VII – SCHOOL OFFICIALS TEACHERS AND OTHER PERSONNEL under Section 1. All
school officials shall at all times show professional courtesy, helpfulness and sympathy towards teachers and
other personnel, such practices being standards of effective school supervision, dignified administration,
responsible leadership and enlighten directions.

Furthermore, Section 3 also stressed that school officials shall encourage and attend the professional growth
of all teachers under them such as recommending them for promotion, giving them due recognition for
meritorious performance, and allowing them to participate in conferences in training programs.

As a teacher, it is very important to review and evaluate your teaching by ensuring that you are doing all you
can to help your students achieve their potential. By regularly reviewing and evaluating your teaching, you
are more likely to provide your students with a continually improving learning experience.
