My recommendation is we only look at Kolkata and Greater Kolkata for the II & III
Quarter. There is no reason or justification to go out to areas where we have no reach.
Creating reach in new areas via Connectors is a very high risk strategy which we are
under no pressure to pursue.

We have seen in the last few months, we have been able to source reasonably good
business ( could have been better ), from Kolkata and surroundings.. lets keep working
on this and focus on improving our service, reduce our delinquencies, and train our
team before we step out.

We need to disconnect all our connectors who do not fall under the revised area of
operations. We can reconnect with them in future if need be when we open up those
areas. We also need to relocate our team members to Kolkata if they are in any
locations we are now discontinuing.

We can discuss this further at our next Summit next week and inform the team
accordingly.

As was informed to you, I had met the Kolkata team on July 14th 2023 in two batches.
First with all the support teams and then with the hub managers for a one on one
discussion with regards to the challenges they face in servicing and assessing the
customers sourced from within and outside of Kolkata.

After having gone through the experience of the last 2 years and the potential we see in
the last 3 months since a Kolkata focussed team has been increasing steadily, there is
a request and a recommendation to change the sourcing areas and the general profile
of customers.

I am attaching a document to highlight the regions:


- prior to decentralisation
- post decentralisation
- proposed new areas
- delimiting the current locations

Knowing the challenges we have been facing for servicing these customers, repayment
issues and property issues, I request you to approve the new recommended areas or
suggest how we should proceed.
The last discussion I had with Tarun and Subrata was that, given they have 10-12 LOs
they are to give steady disbursements of 3 cr per month for Q2 and if they are able to
reach that, we can discuss moving out to any new areas in Q3.
