Se usa el presente simple para expresar rutinas, hábitos y costumbres.


We have a shower at 9:30 every day. Nos duchamos a
las 9:30 cada día. She plays tennis on Mondays. Ella
juega al tenis los lunes.
REGLAS PARA FORMAR LA 3ª PERSONA DEL SIGULAR.
 Se añade una –s a la mayor parte de los verbos:
eat → eats walk → walks like → likes
 Si el verbo termina en –ch, -sh, -s, -z, -x, se añade –es.
finish → finishes mix → mixes catch → catches
 A los verbos go y do se les añade –es. go → goes do →does
 A los verbos que terminan en consonante + y se les quita la –y y se les añade –
ies.
cry → cries try → tries
 A los que terminan en vocal + y se les añade una –s. stay → stays
