DESCRIPTION: This exercise is to be done in Centum VP System View to help students learn how to use AREAIN
and AREAOUT PIO block in Centum VP Software.

OBJECTIVE: At the end of this exercise, the students will be able to communicate within FCS control
drawing using AREAIN and FCS to FCS control drawings using AREAOUT.

Procedure:

AREAIN

Click “FUNCTION BLOCK” under FCS0101.

Right Click on DR0020 and click Properties. Fill in the comment, write AREAIN.

Open DR0020 and create the control drawing as shown:

Note: TIC100 is already defined on DR0001.
