You are required to select one of the research reports above and conduct a critical research
review pertaining to the selected topic. Your discussion must incorporate the following:
1. A summary of the research report (500 words) (25%) – this should include the aim
of the study, research objectives, an image of the conceptual framework, main
findings, recommendations by the researcher, and limitations of the study.
2. A critical analysis and evaluation of the research methodology (500 words)
(25%) – this should include a discussion of the research design, research population,
sampling method and sample size, data collection method, and ethical considerations.
3. A critical analysis and evaluation of the research instrument (questionnaire) (300
words) (20%) – this should include a discussion on its adoption/adaptation,
highlighting the exact source/s of the original questionnaire/s and the design of the
questionnaire that was utilised for data collection purposes.
4. A comparison with at least two other studies that were carried out in tandem
with the selected topic (700 words) (30%) – this should highlight the strengths and
weaknesses of the selected research in comparison with the two other studies, and
provide suggestions for improvement.
