FRAMEWORK ON HOW TO BUILD AN AUDIENCE, PLATFORM, AND A PERSONAL


BRAND.

PART OF THIS SYSTEM:


PICK A CHANNEL:
● FACEBOOK is probably the platform/channel that I’d recommend for everyone to use
unless you’re targeting Warren buffet/Jeff Bezos, etc.

Mostly everyone with the internet can be found on Facebook and if they’re an entrepreneur, in
pain, or have a specific desire, you’ll be able to find them in a group, cause we’re social
creatures and we like being surrounded by people who have the same aspirations, negativity,
fears, desires as us.

● LINKEDIN: is probably the next best platform because It’s pretty easy to send
connections and build a network for yourself on autopilot!

There is a new update on Linkedin that limits the number of connections you can make per
week ( 100 connections per week) so this impedes greatly the potential of this platform, but
regardless if you’re targeting people who can be found by job titles, then this is the best place to
be!

● INSTAGRAM: although you can’t really create a group on this platform, you can still use
it to gain attention to your offers and funnel people to your Facebook group right after!

Most experts who are selling to your ideal customers have Instagram profiles with a huge
following and have spent $$ or invested a lot of time to grow it, so why not scoop up some of
those eyeballs and direct them to your profile?

● YOUTUBE: If you watch youtube a lot like me, then you know that feeling when that
expert or influencer that you really admire comes up with a new piece of content, well it’s
now time for you to become that but for someone else.

YouTube is more of a long term game but I promise you that the right people will be watching
your videos and keeping up with your content, and the content will warm them up so much that
you’ll get to a point where you don’t even need to sell on sales calls.

FIND GROUPS/ CONCENTRATION OF YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS:


There are two ways to go about this:

1. FREE GROUPS: If you’re targeting a specific niche/ group of people that have the
same businesses, same interests, people who need online presence to grow their
businesses, then you’ll most likely be able to find them in many free FB Groups.
Sometimes it’s hard to find Good and free facebook groups with a bunch of your ideal clients,
even when you do end up finding them, you’ll also find a bunch of marketers, cold outreach
beasts, coaches who are looking to sell to the people in the group.

All you need in order to find the right FB Groups is:

1. Facebook Keyword search + Group filter: Simply search for keywords that would be
used to locate your ideal audience’s group and add the Group filter.

Example:

1. Simple Google search: people get paid to write blogs/articles that have the sole
purpose to drive organic traffic to a specific location, so you can simply search {niche top
10 facebook groups} or change facebook for whatever channel you want to use and
you’ll find plenty of blogs with these groups.

1. Youtube Expert’s pages: it is possible to find groups from looking for experts in your
specific niche on Youtube and looking under their youtube videos to find any links
directed to their group!

1. PAID GROUPS: The great thing with the current space of “ Course creators” is
that there are course creators for all kinds of things, and with that comes the
possibility that a few people may have already sold an info product to your ideal
client and led them to a private FB Group ( or any other platform) XXXXXX to be
continued

HOW TO FIND PAID FB GROUPS AND WHY PAID FB GROUPS IS SO POWERFUL!

The same strategies used to find free Facebook groups are to be used when looking for PAID
Facebook groups, the only difference here is that you’re looking to find an info product that
needs to be bought before you join that Facebook group.

The reason why paid Facebook groups are much better than FREE Facebook groups, it’s
because you have more intent, you have more quality leads/prospects in that group!

They’ve already spent their hard-earned money to join and the expert/influencer has paid
thousands, hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of dollars in sources of traffic to gather
all those people in that group!
If you’re reading this, you’re smarter than the expert because you’ll leverage his efforts to
access his audience for just a tiny fraction of what was spent to acquire that audience.

LET’S DO MATH:

Cost of the info-product ( Cost to access the audience) = $1000-5k

Size of the audience = 3000 people.

Cost per lead = 33 cents (Side note, please find me any outreach method or paid ads strategy
that will get you highly intent leads at $33 cents a pop!)

Average price of your DFY or Consulting service = $2500 USD

Scenario: Out of 3000 members, 1000 ( 33% which is pretty conservative) of them are
struggling in succeeding to achieve their desired outcome.

You start a conversation with 500 people in that group and you end up converting 5% of them
on a discovery call.

25 discovery calls in 30 days

50% of them aren’t qualified, so you have 12 potential clients.

Your closing ratio is really bad and you close at 20%, which means that out of 12 sales calls,
you end with 3 paying clients!

3 client x $2000 usd= $6000 USD

You paid $1k to access the group, you made a return of 600% and you still have access to 975
prospects!

Hopefully, by visiting these numbers, it helped you see the potential of paid Facebook groups.

This also is a business expense, so you get to deduct it at the end of the year!

PROFILE OPTIMIZATION:
WARNING: for small groups that are still growing and that the main expert is still
manually accepting people, it’s best to not have your profile optimized!

1. Headline: your headline needs to clearly identify the transformation that you offer, the
time frame and how you get them there.
2. Banner: it is great for it to include your headline in your banner, which will also give you
the opportunity to add more copy, and this will help you elaborate more on the
transformation that you offer and how you achieve it.

Here is an example of the banner I use.


1. Profile picture: It’s best to use a regular profile picture that someone would use on their
social platforms, you don’t want it to look fake or extra.
2. Content: If you’re wondering how you’re not able to get people to add you as a friend or
no one is replying to your cold messages, it’s because you lack any social proof..the only
way to get social proof is to get people to interact with you and on your posts.

Most people who struggle with growing a personal brand or struggle gaining momentum with
social selling are because they think they can skip the step of warming up their prospects.

People like to do what other people are doing. If you’re not posting questions, teasing your
audience with some upcoming content, so that warm prospects can start commenting and
leading others to comment, then you’re doing it wrong!

CREATE YOUR OWN FB GROUP


The main reason for doing this is for you to OWN your audience, it’s for you to create your own
lottery ticket!

This is the main reason why the Kardashians make $1M+ per Instagram post

This is why influencers out there who do nothing but post entertaining TikToks/reels, YouTube
content are able to make millions not because they’re any special but because they OWN the
eyeballs/the traffic/ the audience.

Big corporations come to these influencers who own large audiences and give them multiple
five-figure/six/seven/eight/nine figures deals just because they know the value of a really
engaged audience.

Example: Joe Rogan signs a 100Ms deal with Spotify. Why would Spotify pay 100Ms to
someone who interviews people?? That’s not an insanely scarce skill set, you can find better
interviewers/communicators than Joe Rogan, but guess what these other podcast hosts don’t
have?

All this to say, please start slowly building your own audience and own it. Long term, this will
provide you with asymmetrical returns.

HOW DO YOU ATTRACT PEOPLE TO YOUR FACEBOOK GROUP?


It’s pretty simple, use every opportunity you get to make a post, to drive all that traffic to your
facebook group.

We’ll cover the different posts you can make, but my number one rule is to add the link to your
facebook group, Unless you need to direct that traffic to a different link.

1. PICK AN OFFER AND A HEADLINE, NEEDS TO CLEARLY IDENTIFY THE


TRANSFORMATION YOUR DELIVER:

Headline framework:

I help “specific group of people in a specific situation” get to “ a desired specific


situation” in “ specific time frame” without “ remove any painful aspect or obstacle in the
way of achieving this transformation” OR “add an extra benefit”
These will be different for every offer and you will be required to get creative and talk with your
market, listen to plenty of podcasts in order to figure out how to fill up each missing piece from
your headline.

Current situation and Desired situation will be found by consuming content of people who have
already bridged the gap between those two states.

Once you clearly understand someone’s story, you’ll be able to craft amazing Headlines,
Marketing and Sales arguments!

Where do you find the best insights?

#1 is Podcasts

#2 is Youtube

#3 is programs

#4 is any source of content!

1. CONTENT CREATION:

The purpose of this content as mentioned before is to mainly get people to see you as an expert
and to get you some engagement which in return will create social proof!

Schedule for posting content: I recommend that you never go more than two days without
posting a single piece of content

Types of content:

● Stories
● Questions that would lead any person in your niche to reply
● Hype post: post that you make to hype up your audience for a specific piece of content
that you’ve just created and looking to get people showing interest.
● Actual value - process taken to solve a problem or to deliver your clients results
● Testimonials
● Screenshot of results ( ads manager, replies from clients happy with your service)
● Lifestyle content
● Working content, show off your work ethic.

I’ll share examples.

1. GET EYEBALLS/ GENERATE ATTENTION:

How do you get attention in other people’s Facebook groups?

There are really mainly a few ways of doing this:

● Ask Trojan Horse questions: Trojan horse questions are questions that you ask not
necessarily because you need or care about the answers but because you care most
about the people answering them!
This is really powerful because if you’re creative enough, you can easily get your ideal
prospects in the ideal state to raise their hands!

Once they call themselves out, that’s when you go in for the kill! ( Offer them a solution to their
pain)

● Commenting on people’s posts: This is also really good because people in a group
will be reading other people’s comments, answers to questions that they also would’ve
asked.

When you see a post in which you potentially have an opportunity to show off your expertise,
please do it!

● Add people to your friend's list:

This will literally force people to view your profile and once your profile is optimized really well,
with a good amount of content, you’ll get so many people converting and becoming your friends!

2. WHY DO YOU NEED TO BUILD A BRAND

Why do you need to build a brand and grow an audience for your agency?:

Before I go over the main reasons why I think everyone should build a brand and an audience
for their service business, I’d like to cover the main two ways of growing your agency and the
main issues/limitations that come with these:

1. OUTBOUND PROSPECTING/COLD OUTREACH: this is really the most basic way


of getting customers and getting them on the phone, it’s really cost-effective as it
can be pretty much free to do.

Limitations that come with outreach:

● Linear growth
● Requires a lot of volumes to get results
● Tedious
● Takes a lot of time to really figure out how to make it work predictably
● Restrictions
● Competition, hard to stand out efficiently
● PAID ADS: this is the most scalable strategy and the fastest way to get prospects on the
phone.

Limitations that come with paid ads:

● Need a good chunk of capital due to the testing phase


● Depending on the audience, the cost to get the outcome can be ridiculously high
● If you don’t have a good back-end (up-sells, cross-sells) or a high ticket offer, you could
potentially lose money even when you sign clients.
● Conversion rates can be really low

NOW, WHAT CAN A BRAND AND AN AUDIENCE DO FOR YOUR AGENCY?

Less competition: when done right, a brand can’t be duplicated and that provides you with a
competitive advantage!

Authority figure: When you put yourself in front of people through content and educating an
audience on a specific topic, you become an authority figure, and thanks to the Authority bias
that every human has, you gain more credibility! - Authority bias is the tendency to attribute
greater accuracy to the opinion of an authority figure (unrelated to its content) and be more
influenced by that opinion.

Compound effect: Building a brand and an audience is something that takes time but once
you’ve actually taken action consistently towards building everything, nothing can stop it.

The growth in trust and credibility grows exponentially.

Supporters: an audience to whom you’ve provided value, will want to reciprocate that value
back.
