1.) Do you believe that every individual has absolute freedom to make decision in their life,
or do you think societal norms and expectations limits this freedom to some extent?
The concept of absolute freedom for individuals is complex and often intersects with
societal norms and expectations. While individuals possess a degree of autonomy, the reality
is that societal influences can limit this freedom. Societal norms, shaped by cultural, ethical,
and legal frameworks, establish expectations that guide behavior. These norms act as both a
collective moral compass and a means of maintaining order.
Individuals may willingly conform to these norms for social cohesion or be
constrained by the potential consequences of deviating from them. Legal systems, for
instance, impose limits to safeguard public welfare. Moreover, cultural expectations can
shape personal choices, influencing everything from career decisions to interpersonal
relationships.
However, it's crucial to recognize that societies evolve, and norms change over time.
What may be considered acceptable or unacceptable can shift through collective dialogue and
societal progress. While there are external factors that shape decision-making, individuals
still play an active role in challenging or redefining these norms.
In essence, the interplay between individual freedom and societal norms is dynamic.
Absolute freedom may be elusive due to external influences, but individuals can actively
participate in reshaping societal expectations, contributing to a continuous dialogue about the
boundaries of personal autonomy within the broader context of shared values.
Every individual has a choice to have absolute freedom to freely make their own
choices and parts in their life. I believe that everyone have the right to choose their own path
and do what they wanted to be. Having these societal norms and expectations does limit the
freedom that other people wanted so badly.

2.) In your own opinion, how does the concept of freedom influence a person's ability to
express themselves and pursue their passions?
Freedom is the cornerstone of individual expression and pursuit of passions. When
individuals are granted the autonomy to make choices aligned with their beliefs and desires, a
fertile ground for self-expression and passion emerges. The concept of freedom empowers
people to articulate their thoughts, ideas, and emotions without fear of repression or
censorship.
In a society that values freedom, individuals are more likely to explore diverse
perspectives and unconventional paths. This exploration often leads to the discovery and
cultivation of unique passions. The absence of restrictive barriers allows for the unfettered
development of personal interests, fostering a sense of fulfillment and purpose.
Moreover, freedom creates an environment conducive to creativity. The unrestricted
flow of ideas, unburdened by external constraints, enables individuals to innovate and
contribute to various fields. Whether in the arts, sciences, or any other endeavor, the ability to
express oneself freely fuels a dynamic and vibrant cultural landscape.
Conversely, in environments where freedom is constrained, individuals may find
themselves stifled and hesitant to express their true selves. Suppression of individual
expression can lead to frustration, stifling creativity and hindering the pursuit of passions.
When people are confined by external pressures, their ability to explore new avenues and
fully engage with their interests is compromised.
In conclusion, the concept of freedom is instrumental in shaping an individual's
capacity to express themselves and pursue their passions. Societies that prioritize freedom
create the conditions for a rich tapestry of diverse expressions and vibrant pursuits. It is the
catalyst that propels individuals to explore, create, and contribute meaningfully to the world
around them.
