PROJECT TITLE

STORM DRAINAGE LAYOUT

INSTRUCTIONS:

PART 1 ONLY:

1. Prepare your Roof base plan from plate 4A and 4B. Draft the same base plan on a
separate sheet (A3 size). You can use tracing or parchment paper so you can just trace it.

2. Locate the roof drains, leaders and downspouts on the plan.

3. Choose a portion of your roof for the rainwater harvesting and compute the capacity of
the rainwater tank. Write the computation on an empty portion of your paper.

4. Prepare your Ground Floor and SDP base plan from your Plate 4A and 4B. Draft the
same base plan on a separate sheet (A3 size). You can use tracing or parchment paper
so you can just trace it.

5. Determine the location of your rainwater tank within your site.

6. Design and manually draft a storm drainage layout in pen and ink.

7. Take note of the legend and symbols on the sample output. Copy the legend and write
it on an empty portion of your paper.

Note: Isometric is not required for this plate no. 6.
