What is Gandhi Fellowship Program?


Gandhi Fellowship Program offers nation’s promising
youth an opportunity to solve India’s most pressing
problems in education, health and tribal communities by
working closely with government officials. It is a 2-year full
time residential fellowship program that helps young
people connect to the grassroots, understand issues first-
hand, and implement innovative solutions to cause change
in self, system and society.
The program follows an extensive experiential curriculum
focused towards developing 21st century skills.

Why is Gandhi Fellowship Program


relevant in the present times?
The Gandhi Fellowship Program aspires to prepare the
young minds of India to flourish in this VUCA world by
developing their skills simultaneously creating an impact
on ground.

 Volatile, is about the increasing pace of change, be in


the industry or in the world in general. Everything is
changing rapidly around us.
 Uncertain, is about the extent that we can reasonably
predict the future. It is becoming harder and harder to
forecast what is going to happen and the likelihood of
surprises has risen.
 Complex, is about the multiple interconnected
problems we face. Hence, superior decision-making skills are needed to avoid the butterfly effect
leading to unforeseen consequences.
 Ambiguous, is the dearth of clarity regarding a situation to make an informed decision about it.
Information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contradictory to draw definite conclusions.

How do we aim to build youth and make them future proof?


The Gandhi Fellowship Program offers youth a
transformative experience, equipping them with
essential skills for success in today's complex
world. Through hands-on learning, mentorship,
and exposure to real-world challenges, fellows
gain practical knowledge and a profound
understanding of societal issues. Going beyond
traditional education, the program nurtures 21st
century skills ensuring fellows emerge not only
academically enriched but fully prepared to make
a meaningful impact in self and system.

Who can apply? How to Apply?


The application process for Batch 2024-26
➔ The Applicant should be Graduate, or
final year student of UG/PG with a consists of 3 major steps:
➔ Application
minimum 55% across their tenth, twelfth
and UG/PG degree. ➔ Virtual Interview
➔ In-person Interview.
➔ The candidate should not be aged above

What’s in it for fellows?


The monthly stipend involved is a part of the unique grant system which aims to encourage and support the
youth to develop entrepreneurship and risk-taking abilities. The Fellowship provides a stipend of Rs
24,500/- month, inclusive of all expenses depending on the location.

What after Gandhi Fellowship?


Gandhi fellows are mentored and assisted to design career graph of their choice. Relevant
sessions about private dreams, social entrepreneurship, social intrapreneurship, ongoing
trends in the development sector and other grooming workshops are conducted.
