The course curriculum will make students (especially students with non-medical background) familiar with the
Anatomy & Physiology of the organs & systems, and will give them a brief understanding of the methods used
for diagnosis & treatment, so that they are conversant with the jargons when working in a hospital environment
or any other healthcare setting.
2. Course Learning Outcome: At end of the course students should be able to:
CLO01: Student will be able to learn various organs & body systems of the Human Body, Learn suffixes, pre-
fixes, and word roots common to medical terminology
CLO02: Student will be able to Construct medical terms correctly using the appropriate suffixes, prefixes, and
word roots to specific organ systems of the human body
CLO03: To Identify and list commonly used medical abbreviations & differentiate between various Medical
Specialisations available in Hospitals
